Spargo is Goodwins only answer for the long missing forward connection, so no doubt he'll be straight back in. never mind that he's next to useless in just about every other part of the game though. i'd rather see Ricky Mentha get a go instead.

I like Spargo but at this point it wouldn't matter if we brought Gary Ablett Junior in, it ain't going to make a whiff of difference.

Took my kids (my old man even came along and he hates league) on Sunday to see them against the Sharks. Was a ripper day. We all walked away with a bunch of merch and I'm all in for a membership next season. Whatever it is i usually spend on the Dees for a season will go to the Storm next year. I'll just buy the basic membership for the Dees from now on until changes are made. Won't even bother buying one for my kids. The only player they like is Koz. They've lost complete interest.

Looks like Goodwin has swapped Viney and Sparrow between HFF and Ruck Rover position in the starting 18.

Absolute statement making change there. We will have a complete different look with that swap.

Starting midfield of Gawn, Trac, Oliver and Sparrow will be making Crows midfield nervous.

My main frustration is the lack of selection integrity with blokes like Salem, Lever and Sparrow. Blokes have done zilch for years.

Would be so uplifting to see them demoted and give fellas like Laser, Adams, Brown etc a good run at it.

Tbf I think Salem has been fine, Sparrow has been more or less the same but there's others in the same boat. Lever got dropped last week and only returned because Howes is injured. I mean as I said cupboard is bare, I'm not really convinced with Laser and Brown.

Salem has been shocking imo. We need to be better than having him a lock in our 22.

Sparrow is a known quantity and average at best.

I'm also not convinced with Laser or Brown but I would like to know for sure. And the time's come to look to the future as much as possible.
