Honestly, some of the comments made on here are moronic but worse than that they are repeated over and over with different players each year.
Rather than admit mistakes, they move onto other players to try and cut down. Post has plenty of potential. It's just a matter of finding a way to unlock it and I'm confident we now have the coaching staff to get the best out of him at some stage. A few years back, he would have had no hope.

Would love to see Posty taking marks in the forwardline. Marking power is exactly what we need with Jack being triple teamed

Madtiger is correct in saying we need marking power in our forwardline and post is one our best marks so there is a possibility he could fill that role at some point.
At least post has something to hang is hat on compared to astbury who has shown nothing in the last 18 mths.

For what it's worth, I think that Post shouldn't be cut (before several others) and that he equally shouldn't be in the team just yet.

It must go both ways, an opinion to have post in doesn't have to be the only opinion, so as long as madtiger keeps saying "post" 100000x i will stop saying no post 10000000x because i'm sharing my opinion on an equal level.

Might I also add that all Victorians are in danger of having Post in the team, the boys at HAARP heard the coaches talking about possibly playing Post at the next home game. The HAARP boys called and said they will not allow it, the coaches were saying they had never heard of them and to **** off. The HAARP boys responed with the details of what will happen and a preview of the powers by setting off the MOE earthquake. The coaches understand what is best.
Probably the hardest selection the committee has to face. For me it's:
In: Morris, Vickery
Out: Miller, O'Hanlon/Ellis
Prefer Grimes to be eased back in through Coburg for 1-2 weeks before returning.

I presume Vicks didn't play vs GWS because of poor form.
He didn't play in the VFL did he, so how has he had the chance to regain form?
Maybe Post could come back to the 1sts as a FWD
Along with Morris and whoever else is fit amongst Foley and Grimes.

Grimes said himself 2 weeks ago on the Sunday footy show he was ready to go but they will old him back until after the bye. So noway known will he come back in via Coburg.

and at years end when they dont get delisted (consistent with numerous quotes from the coach regarding their role and development plans for them).. they go ballistic as if the decision to keep them is a huge, unfathomable surprise out of the blue!
