One thing is for sure. Get Newman out of the side. Too slow as a defender and doesnt get enough of it as a forward. Send Morris back to defence.

Give Astbury another week off. No need to play 3 against the Lions.

Astbury is very important for the 3rd week of our first 4 week block. If we lose to the Bears I will lose my block and Hardwick will lose his job.

If Newman gets picked again Hardwick should lose his job.

troy chaplin is a cancer, worst player in the AFL below his knees and can't kick or handpass. (astbury or elton) way better options. Watch hawthorn poach elton and turn him into a gun (dunstall loved his games NAB challenge)

Poor Elton was robbed of first grade games last year and it's happening again. Madonna the same . Freo should make a play for Elton as well and Carlton. Madonna will end up at the crows or port and have a magnificent career

I'm not a Morris lover, or a Morris basher. But he applied pressure forward again, didn't have an effective game up front, no one down there did, it never came. Got asked to go back and didn't disgrace himself. Always room for him in my side.

We lost because we were soft, unaccountable and second to the ball. Morris isn't any of those.

I don't think anyone in their right mind is a Morris hater it's just that a third pre season as a lock down defender would be common sense as he's proved he can keep the best small forwards in the Comp quiet even with one arm. I think Hardwick is a dip shit trying to turn him into Jake King.

The funny thing was he didn't hit a target that day just whacked in hard as Hardwick played him in the guts . Hardwick loves a battler. How Madonna doesn't get a game over this guy is mortifying
