That’s not really the point though. Everyone’s complaining like Pedo comes in and performs at an exceptional level in the seniors after good VFL form but in reality whenever he does well in the VFL he comes back in to the firsts and is largely average. He’s a good player, I like him a lot, but I think the coaches’ frustrations with him are more than justified, especially for a senior player. He has the ability of someone like Adelaide’s Lynch, but he’s not nearly as consistent which is his greatest downfall.

He's played two good games at VFL level, rounds 1 and 3. Had 7 touches in R2. His form line is the same as Weideman's. Not that Weid is the answer, but Pedersen isn't exactly a world beater being forced out. He's a very good VFL player who is sometimes serviceable at AFL level

I guess my frustration of Pedersen not being picked is in way also frustration at how our forward line is functioning. If we stopped flooding the forward half and put 3 out and out tall marking forwards there with room to move, perhaps we could score some more

I just don’t think it needs to be Pedo. Fix the game plan and even a 192cm Smith will get the job done playing the same role as Pedo

We most certainly should win the next 4, but we won't. Not sure what you're saying about Hogan, I think he looks more like he's enjoying it now than he ever has.

I think preseason, we would all have marked these next 4 down as wins if we were going to make finals. I think if we lose this weeke, being 3 losses in a row and against a side who is struggling, some questions will start to be asked about Goodwin. It also makes it pretty tough to make finals. We'd have to win 11 of 18. Given how close we got last year, and the list we have, I'd say the time has come for finals-or-bust-type discussions going on..

Yep. Weideman was playing well while Pedersen was not. That’s how form lines work. Of all our selection dilemmas this season this is easily the most meritocratic
