none.... grigg seemed ok, just sore. Banno should come back via VFL if he's ready.

i cant see anyone who should leave that side. :thumbsu:

cue russell bashers..

Yeah, no changes for me.

And to think we have walker/bower/hoolihan/bannister to come back into the side. :D Match committee got some serious decisions to make in the next several weeks to follow..

Don't forget Hartlett and Edwards.

Hadley the only one to seriously push from the ones you've named, but needs a run in the two's to show he can get through.
Bower and Hoops may not play this year.
Walker needs some match fitness and should play in the 2's for a week or two first.
Banno is close, but with Armfield playing the way he is, and Carrazzo doing a good job on the small forwards who does he come in for?

Depth...........its been a long time.:thumbsu:

____, you better beat essendon, i ____ing hate them, my step dad goes for them and thinks after the win on fri there now top 8 chances, if they win it will be unbearable.

Do it for me Carlton!!

Hampson was terrible yesterday unfortunately, so could easily be dropped. However, I like the idea of the 3 pronged ruck division in the side, with Cloke, Hampson and Kreuzer, so he may be spared.

Austin has been in the best in the VFL for a while now, and after another BOG performance on the weekend would be damn close to coming in to the senior side.

That is the only change that I would consider making as noone else really needs, or deserves to be dropped - everyone contributed.

how many games has Austin been named emergency now?? At a guess i would say 8?

IN: Austin
OUT: Hampson

As has previously mentioned our depth is great now. So I would guess each game would be more a case for "horses for courses"

Unless they plan on playing Waite at CHF, I don't really see how Aussie would fit in a side against essenden.

I would bring in Banno or Phyff for this weeks game, just so we can run with the bombers.

I would have

OUT: Hampson
IN: Banno/ Phyf

Not too sure to be honest, but plenty.

He's been named in the best for something like the last 5-6 weeks though, with a couple of BOG performances.

As I said, he MUST be close to a senior game.

I like the "idea" of austin in for hampson.

Who does austin go to?

I would love to see him get a game but is it the right game to come in to?

I wouldn't have thought there are too many games that he is better suited to come in to.

The Bombers have 3 main targets up forward - Lloyd, Lucas and Neagle. Setanta should go to Lloyd, and Waite to Lucas. Neagle is the interesting one - we could use Thornton on him, or we could bring in Austin to go to him. Both Austin and Neagle are young kids so it would be a great opportunity to see where Aussie is really at.

Browne in for Russell or Bentick some turnovers from these guys really hurt us at times and we just have to eliminate really bad turnovers.

Don't get me wrong both had some positives but they both just make so many costly errors.

After yesterdays game I would of thought Waite will start to play foward. He played way better in the foward than he did the defence. I'd say Thornton on Lloyd and Jammo on Lucas. Not having Bower in the team is seriously a downfall in this game as he could of played on either Lloyd of Lucas.

Is there need for him? If we were to bring in austin i feel waite could push forward on occassion. Can austin take one of the key forwards like waite?

Surely you jest?

Neither are even a remote chance of being dropped this week.

Leave Hammo in. He seems to be one of the kids (like Grigg and Russell), who if you just give them games and let them know their spot is safe, regardless of form, they will come good. He needs at least a couple more chances. Cos there is no point to playing young guys, then dropping them after 1 or 2 matches, shattering the confidence, making them question themselves whether they are good enough for AFL.

And anyway we can probably afford to have a passenger or two against the bombers.

I wouldn't be bringing in Austin to play on either Lloyd or Lucas, that's for sure.

I'd play Waite, Thornton, Jamison, Setanta on them before I even thought about Austin on either of those 2.

Austin can come in to play on Neagle, but we don't really need him as we have a fair few options for the Bombers tall forwards.

We could entertain the thought of bringing in Aussie to play up forward, though.

I would love to see Andrew "Tex" Walker back this week if he is fit to play and also I hope they give Darren Pfieffer another run dammit!

But yeah russell should be dropped for either of the previously mentioned!

While Jamison sits on his arse in the goal square doing nothing?
