how many games has Austin been named emergency now?? At a guess i would say 8?

Tongue firmly in cheek I hope here BD.Blue Dimension said:In: Walker, Bannister

Maybe his nickname could be Andy or Bicks, after Andrew Bichel.

Grigg was outstanding and Wiggins was very good at times.
Banno needs to get a game into his hammy......and Tex needs to get about 2-3 games into him. He hasn't played at all this year. Needs to find some touch in the two's before dropping players that are contributing to what is a good team ATM
I just feel that Rats is keen to get Walker back next week by the way he is speaking. I'd say Wiggins would be the most likely of the 22 to be dropped. Hampson may not have played well but i prefer Kreuzer playing as the KPP up forward.
Bannister has been out for a while, so you're right, he could play in the 2's, but if he was to make his way back i'd imagine it'd be at the expense of Grigg, mainly because they play a similar role and it was Grigg who came in for him upon his injury.
So it could be just Walker, but Ratten did allude to the fact that Bannister was touch and go to play against the Pies. So i could imagine him being ready for the Dons.
It's really a prediction more than what i'd like to see, as personally i have always been a fan of Hartlett and i feel that Bannister should have to work his way into form in the 2's.

I'm sure Ratts would love to have him back, but in form.I just feel that Rats is keen to get Walker back next week by the way he is speaking.
Hmmm, Banno played up to round 6, Walker hasn't played since the Doggs practice game 2 weeks before round 1, yet you think Walker might come back in and Banno needs a run in the two's?Bannister has been out for a while, so you're right, he could play in the 2's,
Tex was out of the side when we were losing as well.bluejudd said:Don't forget all this winning has started with

Both guys ran the game out on the field.Cruiser23 said:Anyone got any word on both Grigg and Armfield's injuries yesterday? Both had fairly length spells on the bench but got back on the ground eventually. Will they be right for this weekend?
Grigg deserves his spot, but all depends on his ribs.

Hoops, Banno and Tex out of the side. ----- any correlation there? maybe not but when it ain't broke......

To give Essendon a chance, Thanks guys![]()

Banno was part of two wins and probably our form player of the first 4-5 rounds before he was injured.
Bit harsh there bj.
Both guys ran the game out on the field.
Grigg was concussed but came back on and played well. Should be O.K.
Army had a corky but was able to come back on. Should be right as well.

I'd like to see Hartlett get another crack, apparently played well for the Bullants and Teague rates him very highly, would also help our forward structure. Not sure if Walker is 100% ready to go but he could be in line, though i would rather a game or two for the Ants before he gets picked. Also it sounds like Bannister is still not right so i don't think he'll be coming in.
IN Hartlett
OUT Hampson/Wiggins
Out: Hampson, Grigg (if he's injured)
In: Hartlett (in good form in the 2s), Piffiefer (for Grigg)
Harlett needs a good month in the 2's to show his hammy is strong enough.
He has had 3 weeks in the VFL and would help to stretch the Bombers defence
I don't know that Hille could take Snuffy in the ruck and I doubt that Slattery could defend against a Muppet let alone an actual forward.HAHAHAHA! Throw in the members of HI-5, Elmo & Mr Sniffleupagus & you might just shade us! Good to see there is humour out there!!![]()
Its not harsh BB
Why drop anyone after two great wins?
Re-read what I quoted in terms of you being harsh.........and then understand why your post is nonsense.
This will be Lovett's 50th game from memory. That's like being misquoted in the media mate. Selective journalism.
I said what you highlighted, and then finished with.... if it ain't broke why fix it.
Which was referring to ---- we have won two good games why change it?
If i had of left this last part out, then yes nonsense post, but i didn't
There is a bit more in it that "why change a winning team". No misquote at all. The swipe at long term injured players was the bit I was interested in, and I don't think the full quote helps you. Its still harsh.Don't forget all this winning has started with
Hoops, Banno and Tex out of the side. ----- any correlation there? maybe not but when it ain't broke......
