I personally havent watched much of the 2s so far this year, but ive read the results and he is yet to do enough to warrant selection.

No chance of Maxwell or Johnson being dropped.

If Fraser and Davis are okay then bring them in. Fraser should play as a permanent forward against the dons. I also wouldnt mind seeing Lonie get one more shot at senior level. Im unsure of his form in the 2s...

We definantly need to inject some pace into our side. The kangas just ran past us on numerous occasions.

In regards to peolple calling for thomas to be dropped, bucks said on radio that he is playing his position and not going kick chasing and thats why his numbers have been low when we havn't performed, his form hasnt been great but what bucks says goes.

I'd like stanners to get a run for johnno or goldy, and fraser to come in as a forward. we fell down across half forward when trav got shut out of the game, anthony is not a very "tall"tall if ya know where im coming from. I think we need 3 big guys up there.

I'm not completely sold on Dawes yet either, but am prepared to give him time, so I hope all the hype is worth waiting for. In answer to the critics and those ready to see him in the seniors, I wouldn't say he has been setting to world on fire exactly. So far in his time at Collingwood he has played:

2007- Played 5 games Williamstown reserves (Nil in best)
2007- Played 3 games Williamstown seniors (Nil in best)
2008- Played 14 games Collingwood Reserves (4 in best, 6th, 4th, 3rd & 2nd)
DTM, last week he wasn't BOG, he was named 2nd BOG. If he continues to improve and keeps presenting, I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the seniors later in the season.

Bucks is right though, 13-209 touches from a forward pocket HFF and a goal or two is actually pretty good,

the problem is he is worth morew to the side with stints in the middle they just arnt coming

Correct, (it was 2nd game actually). He kicked 7, didn't get named in the best mainly because he was one of four players who kicked 20 goals between them in a winning score of 30 goals.

As I said in response to DTM, I find the CFC to be somewhat biased in their votes, that's why I rely on the VFL stats.

So Being BOG in the VFL game last week is doing **** All?

1 game in the best by him shouldnt warrant selection in my mind.he has to do it for 2-3 weeks in a row. If a key forward cant dominate and kick a bag in the 2s then i dont see it changing when he gets to the 1s. Its gets harder not easier

According to the stats hes kicked 13 goals in as many matches. Hardly dominant by any stretch

I dont believe in playing someone simply on potential. He should have to get some runs on the board to get selection

andrew welsh has probably been the best tagger over the past month he is a worry but looks like he may pull up this week.
monfries -the month prior to his injury this week he was averaging 21 disposals, 9 marks, nearly 2 goals and a GA as match as well as 6 inside 50s a match. all as a lead up small forward.
