Changes vs Bombers?

It would be great to see Fisher reach 100 games, but he probably doesn't deserve another game.

Agree with the point about not deserving another game. This may be extremely harsh; but my thoughts question whether the bloke deserves to have his name etched into the no. 14 locker for all time. In any other era in our history, a player of his calibre would not have got to 25 games, let alone 100.

It's not just about getting his name put on a locker. It's about showing respect for a player hampered by injury and giving us the option of a father son pick further down the line.

if the changes are right re walker and yarran out with hadley and robbo in, i just dont see how we are going to stop their run, which has been the fundamental reason why they have blasted us for the past 6 times.

Fish was much more potent early in his career, anything that landed in his hands just stuck

Unfortunately, his speed and ground skills have never been great, and with the game getting faster year by year, added to bad injury, his natural weaknesses are getting enhanced year by year

He's been a great servant of the CFC.

Just puzzled as to why Yarran's out?
From what I've heard about the weekend's game, the general consensus was that he was one fo the only few to have a go and break the lines, it's jsut that he had no targets leading for him/no support. can anyone clarify?
Because Ratten's grand plan is to keep picking Carrazzo who wouldn't be name in anyone'sy best 22 for 2012.*.

*Disregard if he's the fourth out.

Ratten must love Joseph.

If it's as wet as it is now, the selections of bigger bodies and slower legs might pay off.

Still think Walker should be played ahead of Davies or Carrazzo.

If it's true that Walker has a back injury, that just about sums up our player management this year.

Mclean was played when he wasn't right.

Nah. You know what I mean. ;)

I've got a far better feeling than I had going into the Collingwood game...

Mind you I've had an excellent feeling about the last 6 Essendon games and we know how they turned out. :D

If they chop us up through the corridor again I'll puke. :(

Gotta feel a bit sorry for Fisher. First game this season and was no worse than everyone else, could have given him another chance. Maybe?
Yes not sure if he get the 100 up not knowing if he will get a contract. You would think Carlton a totally run by monkeys if he is stuck on 99 games. This is if years later their is a young kid named Fisher who could have been taken father and son. What was the point of Hadley selected again like he is going really block for Judd.:thumbsd:Davies,Robertson and Armfield are good although.

"line in the sand" Battle talk, imagery, all good for motivation. I like it.

Also sounds like a reference to a Ben Cousins beach party.

With our forward line the way it is Fletcher and Hurley are going to have a night out knowing very well that Hampson and Hendo don't hold their mark's.
They will zone off them, knowing the only 2 they need to worry about is Waite and Bett's.
If Hoop's was playing it might have made it easier for the big guy's to have an impact in the game as Hoop's warrant's respect from the defenders.

As much as it pain's me our forward line will undo the good work the guy's put in to get it to em. We still have been getting it in our forward line but for no result's.
You can't win game's of footy when your tall's can't take a grab no matter who is delievering it to them.

Waite really needs to step up tonight if he gets the delivery to him.He has been in the system for a very long time. This is the time to really show something. I don't expect Henderson and Hampson to do much damage or much at all yet.
