This is officially our last chance to show something as a club for this season, if the norm occurs and we get trounced by these spuds then we may as well call it a year

The last two months have been sickening and disheartening to observe from our point of view

Johnson- still needs to work on his defencive skills
Joesph- looks tired and needs a rest

IN- austin - need to play for his development and our structure. Play him at chb leave waite forward and push bower to the hbf to run into form
robinson- should be in our best 22 in and out of the team to much
Davies - really deserves a chance

A few positional changes for some players, but it is desperation stakes.

Our forwards can't seem to get any separation on leads ,so Russell has shown before he can lead quickly & effectively.

Yarran has shown some good pace & poise running through the middle so maybe he can do the same off half-back. ( match him up on Alwyn davey )

Walker kicked a couple & up forward can just concentrate on winning the footy & having less decisions to make in traffic.

Judd,Grigg,Gibbs,Simpson,Robinson,Ellard are our best contested footy winners so should do most centre bounces between them.

U guys have some bloody good players, its just that they dont seem to know what each other is doing. Its like a mid 90's team free lancing against better drilled / disciplined current teams.

Hey Guys, didn't manage to catch the game because I was flying back to Melbourne, but I was wondering how Fisher, Ellard and Grigg played?

Think people calling for Johnson to be dropped are off the mark. 16 touches at 75% eff plus a team high 6 tackles is decent enough to get another game considering it was only his second game back. Play him the rest of the year and make a call on him.

I like those ins and outs. Although I would maybe keep Garlett it in for Robinson.

1. If Bower is still carrying an injury or is just out of form? If he's injured rest him, if not I'd rather he stay in the kid is quality.

The ins:
Definately need some hardness which Hadley & Robbo will provide and they can also tackle!
Army an automatic inclusion and his run off the backline will be a major boost.
Houlihan to provide a bit of much needed polish and O'hAilpin to get a chance to hopefully rediscover some of that early season form.
As for the outs:
I am hoping like the rest of us that Juddy can get up but is doubtful.
Garlett maybe a little harsh but it is time to part ways with playing Eddie, Yarran & garlett in the same side. I would prefer to keep Yarran & Betts as they have a bit more x factor to their game.
I will probably be shot down with the Bower exclusion but he is struggling big time at the moment. Needs to go back and find some confidence in the twos.

Austin should come in and play CHB. We need a bigger frame down there to help jamison...bower and walker shouldbe coming over as third or fourth defenders doing the spoils.

Waite FF, Hendo CHF..presenting straight down the guts, not to the wings all the time. fisher in the pocket...betts, garlett, yarran hitting the packls hard and roving the packs..not going up in the packs...houlihan is needed to play that defensive role in the forward line.

Davies plays small while Austin plays tall.

Not sure about you but from what I've seen we desperately need a third tall down back and not another small. Davies was average last week. Touhy created run and if there's any small that should come in it should be him.

Yep, agree, only push Walker forward and have the smalls playing short sharp stints in the midfield.
