I wouldn't personally be picking SGary this week but those ruling a line through his name need to remember that he played the same role as Boak last year, ie the hardest role in our garbage 2018 gameplan.

This gameplan is all about gutrunning a link up play, where he's far more suited.

Marshall shouldnt be moved out unless Frampton starts dominating the SANFL or Dixon comes back. Otherwise keep him in.

I reckon bringing in Hartlett and Wines in for Bonner and Amon would make us too slow. That’s why i’d be giving Hammer another week of SANFL, then bringing him in against Richmond but I still don’t know who drops for him. He can’t come in for Watts coz we need Howard as a third tall, but Houston, Byrne-Jones, Burton and Bonner will all be hard to drop as well. We’ll see what happens I guess.

My choice to replace Amon and Watts would be Mayes and Howard as a like for like scenario.

I am not sure why, but, even though I reckon it wouldn't be individually "like for like", I am under the impression that:
Watts + Amon = Mayes + Trengove

I can’t believe people think Broadbent will play AFL again.

Before injury he was average, his body is wrecked, move on, our back half is solid it doesn’t need Broady, he’s been surpassed.

We still need good users by foot. That's the issue. Without watts we lack the ability to pull off those high risk reward type plays from half back.

Nah, it became difficult to maintain the rage once he was delisted. I maintain that his treatment was an indictment on our list management and we got lucky that Charlie Dixon fell in our laps.

You'd hope we've learnt our lesson and give Marshall more opportunity.

I recon the guys that had more total possessions, contested possessions and clearance than anyone else last year has a place in our side.

Wines is our most dominant midfielder and a walk up start and definitely makes our midfeild better.

People are crazy to want HH back this week, not ready yet. Will need more than 1 SANFL game to regain match fitness/touch. Did anyone wanting him in watch the Magpies game? At this stage would rather Mayes or Howard. Give HH another game or 2 at SANFL then bring him back.

Yeah I was at the game ..

We played very similar to the 11-4 shit we did last year. The kids actually steadied us. Carlton lost their best KP forward at the start of the game. Had he played he could of easily been the difference. We did what we needed to in the last 10 minutes, that's all. Lower ranked sides always start the year with a little more hunger , they'll still finish bottom 4.

If we start the game as we did against Carlton vs Brisbane they'll win by 6-7 goals
