May need to bring in Howard for watts as we are going to be very short down back without watts and Brisbane have some height. Ideally want Howard in better form but it is what it is.

Wines likely to be back I would think.

Would persist with Marshall.
He is young. Even westhoff and Ryder couldn’t compete with what Carlton defenders were allowed to get away with tonight.

Watts and Amon both definitely miss. Amon is a medial, watts is a # or high ankle sprain.

Would seem awfully brutal to balance the big bodies and drop, say, drew who he hasn’t put a foot wrong

Agreed but I reckon he's the type that's hardly going to benefit in the seconds.. he's good enough to slot straight back in.. 50-60% Gametime vs Brisbane is enough.

my only concern is its an outside mid for an inside so it may upset balance and worsen our disposal through the middle. but i'm making the same changes. Drew is good by foot and covers the ground well, so i assume he plays outside.

Not playing Howard is risky against Brisbane's tall forward line. I guess we're backing in our run, but we've seen that backfire before.

You can't drop Marshall after 1 poor game in the wet, coming off of a concussion, where none of our key forwards fired. If Charlie was fit maybe, but we can't afford to lose the marking target given the 6-6-6 setup.
