I would like to see Farrell come in and somehow have he, Rozee and Butters fill the Amon void.
Wines will come in, but question is for whom. Is SPP in the gun? Be very stiff to leave out Drew.
Then I think Howard for Watts is pretty striaghtforward.

In my gutless way I am glad someone else has to decide who to drop.
I suppose last in first out is reasonable, in which case Drew is the man to suffer for Ollie. I just do not think Wines can be left out if fit.
Only other option is to retain Drew in another role, and isolate our worst performer from the weekend and sacrifice him. That would be Marshall, and Im uncomfortable with that. It would mean someone like Westhoff goes to Marshall's position and Drew to the wing maybe.
Maybe start rotating the youngsters, as will need to happen through the year. Im not comfortable with that either. Drew aint a good fit for any of the other 3 kids. And its too early to do that.
Im waffling....I'll leave it there.

At this stage it's more a case of Watts and Lienert being injured as opposed to Dougal bashing down the door. Brisbane also play 3 talls in their forward line so to bring in Hammer as Watts' replacement would leave us incredible short down back with just Jonas and Clurey as the tall backs. Would be very disappointed if Dougal isn't brought in.

Nah, McStay plays as a third tall but I think Burton or Houston can take hime. TomTom to take Hipwood and the resting ruck.

Wines will play if fit and he should.

I don't really get how people can't find a place for our best inside mid and captain after a middling win against Carlton at home.

Wines will benefit from the same uplift in form that everyone else due to the more positive gameplan. His bodywork at the stoppages will create more space for the likes of Rockliff, Gray and Boak. The balance of our side won't be thrown off by replacing one okay outside mid with one very good inside mid, and if it is, it's not robust enough to be successful anyway.

He can, but Marshall is struggling as it is, he's not Charlie Dixon he cant carry the side up forward. To take Westhoff out of the forward half means we're putting to much pressure on Marshall.

Richmond in the next game we could cope as they'll only have Lynch as a big forward but to not bring in a tall adjacent Bris with their 3 tall forwards is very dangerous, WCE the week after we'll be in the same position again with Allen, Kennedy and Darling

And please don't suggest Westhoff can replace Watts! It leaves our forward line exposed, and takes away our POD - our ability to have Westhoff roam.

If Howard trains well this week, he has to come in to replace Watts.
