Butters was better last night but I think he's due for a spell. Boak for Butters for mine

If you compared Motlop and Butters' performances, Motlop had 9 more possessions, 1 more contested possession and 1 more score involvement. The difference was that Butters was camped inside forward 50 for most of his possessions, whereas Motlop actively worked around the ground for his and still managed to record as many tackles inside 50 as Butters (two).

If you assume that Boak slots into the role that Motlop was playing (getting around the ground), you could put Motlop in Butters' position and you would probably gain because Motlop can swap with Boak and give him a rest, whereas Zak doesn't have that string to his bow quite at the moment.

Then the only change you would make to that side (sorry Ryder, you're not getting back in because Howard is a better forward than you) is Watts for Bonner when he's fit (and he will be).

Boak walks back in, not sure who goes out for him though. If it is Butters it upsets the balance and means an inside mid has to go forward.

If there is any soreness for Lycett Ryder comes in. Maybe Ladhams if he dominates today, but picking Ladhams over Ryder for solo ruck would be a big call.

I just really liked the balance of our side, and I don’t want Robbie up forward. You could drop Bonner and move Houston back into defence or directly swap him with Boak.

SPP as well could simply go straight out for Boak.

What I don’t want to see is Butters out so SPP or Wines can have more time forward... I wouldn’t mind seeing Marshall come into the side for Butters though.

I think I would do.

Out: SPP, Butters
In: Boak, Marshall

There is also the chance they decide to bring Ryder in, not sure who for.

I just really hope they don’t throw the balance of the side off too much.

Not sure what sam gray has to do to win over this supporter base. I think he is having a good year and was brilliant yesterday. No chance of getting dropped.

I'm a fan of Sam Gray, he is one that always gives 100%.

He is starting to get dangerously low in this stat though.
In terms of a single stat that gives an indication of a players worth, I can't think of a better one.

Seems to support he's going fine only marginally quite a number and he's playing small forward

Jonas and Clury poor , that's right they're back men

Ahead of the 3 new glamour recruits are they also dangerously low ? We are talking performance not potential .

Stats can be so misleading , is like to see separate stats against other teams in top 8.
There are those that feast on the poor teams but disappear against big boys
