After yesterdays game:

Ins: Hislop, Slattery, Neagle(if fit)
Outs: Dyson, Pev, Nash

Brisbane have to much size up forward and we must play Ryder there all game seeing Mal is now injured.

Neagle is a must as we need a big guy that can compete well.

Myers is out for 4 weeks with a possible foot fracture.
Where did you hear that?

Is there one player that has come to our club in the past 5 years or so that hasn't suffered an injury that is quite significant? There must be something wrong down there! Disgusted!

I see the information is from the essendon injury list site. On a brighter note Gumbleton now has a time frame of 4 weeks. Pleasing but I am still disappointed. Dempsey is still another 3 weeks away. ____:mad: It has been listed as 3 weeks for almost a month.

Pathetic season. Bring on 2009:thumbsdown:

It was actually posted by a first time poster about a week ago

Injured during Freo match. Compound fracture of nose. Suspected stress fracture of foot. Could be out for rest of season.

It was deleted as when i asked the poster via pm of his source, he didn't reply, so i smelled BS.

Seems he was right.

geez, we are pretty unlucky, injuries to young players such as gumbleton, dempsey, myers, hislop and davey have frustrated the hell out of me. Myers looks to be a gem; so calm and composed for someone his age.

Would just about agree with this but would go with Hislop over Tayte just for balance reason might be getting a little top heavy with Neagle and Tayte going in.
and leave Hill alone in Ruck? Pears to go to FB, Fletch CHB & McPhee in defence as well, developing Ryder in the Ruck

And have Pears on Bradshaw?????

Don't get me wrong, he looks like a great kid... But i don't think he's really up to playing on Bradshaw (or Brown) at this stage.

McPhee was moved forward because he wasn't doing well at all down back.... He's been pretty good most of the year, why change that?

IN: slats, neagle, hislop
OUT: myers, pev, dyson

they might want to give sloppy one more in the reserves though

Shouldn't drop Laycock. Hille is a much better player with him in the team and averages about 4 possessions more a game. (Bear in mind that this is with probably more time on the bench)

IN: slatts (to take Hooper), Neagle, Pears
OUT: Lazycock, Dyson, Pev

develop Ryder as a ruckman, send Tayte down back

Um - so you would move our best defender (possibly) to the middle & let a 1st year player be r*ped by the best forward line in the world? No good for us to lose this week! Laycock will do well against there ruckmen. He had a good 1st quarter last week (grasping for positives).

Pears = 1st year player.

Out - Fletch & Myers
In - Pears & Neagle

May need to put McPhee down back like he did in the last half when Fletcher went down.
Rama to take half back maybe for his experience & let Pears work his way back into the game.
