Out - Fletch & Myers
In - Pears & Neagle

May need to put McPhee down back like he did in the last half when Fletcher went down.
Rama to take half back maybe for his experience & let Pears work his way back into the game.

I thought reports on Fletch were good and he'd be right to play??

IN: Michael, Slattery, Neagle. <<< If all are fit.

OUT: Dyson, Pevrill, Myers.

In the Mix: Houli, Atkinson, Hocking, Hislop.

Apparantly Michael was less than ordinary in the reserves last week so why do you think he deserves a recall?

Also, Houli is not in the mix. I wish people would stop mentioning him for this game. And yes, i am aware that he is listed as a possible inclusion but what is listed is not what is always true.

^^

MM treated Bonnaddio with contempt and was regularly 20m away zoning off - maybe he forgot he was playing VFL

If Fletch is out I'd say we'd have to bring Mal back due to the fact that we need an extra big body (Brown/Bradshaw) - Ryder will have his hands full against Brown

Might be a late change for Hislop I reckon

I'm pretty sure Michael busted his ribs hence his poor game on the weekend! I would think Fletch would miss one match.

Um - so you would move our best defender (possibly) to the middle & let a 1st year player be r*ped by the best forward line in the world? No good for us to lose this week! Laycock will do well against there ruckmen. He had a good 1st quarter last week (grasping for positives).

Charman will absolutely clean up lazycock... Charman has balls!

Peverill should not be in the team. Does not offer anything of value for this team going forward. Give him a farewell game in Round 22 but until then he should be at Bendigo.

Only definite in's I can think of are

IN: Neagle, Hislop

Out: Peverill, Dyson, Myers

Slattery may well come in.

I was at the Bendigo game and sat behind the goals.... and yes, Mal was less than ordinary. When he gave away a free-kick for over the shoulder, I commented to my g/f that I thought he'd been too disinterested and too far away from his opponent to give away a free kick.

I thought he might have been carrying an injury, but he made a reasonable effort to spoil mid-way through the last quarter, which I doubt he could have done if he'd had broken ribs. Did his apparent injury happen after this point?

Despite this, If Mal's fit, I'd probably bring him in against his old side. Think he has something to prove to them and think we're going to need him versus Brown/Bradshaw.

Mal can't play on Brown and i doubt he can do the job against Bradshaw.

I think it will again come down to Fletcher on Brown and Paddy on Bradshaw with constant help from third man in.

Mal played and Brown last year and did a pretty good job.

Mind you Fletch played loose in front but Mal was good in the one on ones.

That is what he does best. One on one he is fine, but put him on anyone with pace, or anyone who can lead then he gets 5-6 goals kicked on him.

His ideal against someone like Anth Rocca.

Fletch had the luxury of doing that last year because Bradshaw didnt play. Different story this year. Before last weekend I thought Mal should come in to give us three good tall defenders but after watching him run around disinterested against Port Melb I would rather keep him out. So it's going to have to be one on one's with FLetch and Paddy against the Lions two gorillas.
