Out: Eagleton, Addison, Williams, Stack
In: Murphy, Reid, O'Keefe, Tiller

I think Tiller has to come in for Williams as Tiller's a proven finals supporter and a much better stopper than Williams, who struggles to stop Kepler Bradley.

You go through a lot of emotions with this club...mainly disappointment. Today was just pure anger...mixed with the realisation that many blokes I've defended throughout the year no longer deserve my support.

  • Out Eagleton: Today he played his last game for the club. Gave us nothing except turnovers
  • Out Williams: This bloke might become a reasonable player in the future but he will never be the star we had hoped he would become. I attributed six goals today directly to him.
  • Out Addison: Hate to say this but Fred Cook...you were right. He isn't up to it. How the hell did Eade think this bloke could play up forward?
Some blokes will remain in our side on reputation alone. Cooney was disgraceful today. That attempt in the last quarter to kick a torpedo was the last straw. Yes he kicked a ripper soon after but a strong coach would have dragged him.

Does Everitt ever not fumble? Can Stack not go to ground? Will Hahn ever run to a dangerous position?

Two blokes can hold their head high today....Morris and Easton Wood. The rest can go get stuffed.

anyone see Lake sneaking up forward during the day, then realising his man was loose, and not making it back to defence in time...

Wood impressed, morris is fantastic, aker still has another year in him, and Huddo may be slow and clumsy, but he does give his all. Thats about all the postives.

Hargraves is useless when not rebounding, addison (did he even play?), everitt is VERY clumsy and its a worry when its in his hands, and Lake was screaming at him half the day. Minson is a (yep ill say it) LIABILITY, hahn was useless, stack kept going to ground, cooneys decision making and footing was woeful, cross got lost during the first half, boyd didnt have any influence at the start, Williams cant defend, and lastly, EAGLETON IS A JOKE! he MUST retire immediately.
So, with all this in mind.. wont happen though...

IN: GOK, Skipper, Tiller, Callan, Murphy, Picken(?), Grant
OUT: Eagleton, Hahn, Addison, Stack, Everitt, Minson, Williams.

Were not going anywhere if we dont make at least 3 or 4 changes this week.

No Changes

Well - maybe as suggested above ...

Out: Wood
In: Murphy

If that happens I'll spew up in a mailbag and mail it off to Rocket. If I find out that its not legal to do that, I'll send it by private courier.

I just hope we can get our best 22 on the park for the finals. For this week;

In: Murphy, Welsh, Picken

Out: Stack, Addison, Eagleton (I've defended him for awhile now, but his last month suggests he must go)

Out
1/ Eagleton, I have had enough of that $hit it is just not acceptable that he turns the ball over so much under pressure. Misses a set shot 45 angle 30 m out, LeCras got one same position up the other end from the kick in. Turned the ball over at least twice in the first half for Eagles goals. That soft handball to Johnson when 30m out directly in front of goal was the sealer.

2/ Addison, what is this plodder playing in the forward line for, SLOW SLOW SLOW, a back up half back flanker at the very best.

3/ Stack, yes played a good game last week but wow, he has come back to earth, did he actually have a possession ?

4/ Williams, too bad Tiller is injured will probably stay in the side, that is the worst game I have seen from him

I could probably think of a few more

In,
Picken, god we missed him
Murphy, straight in even if he is not match fit
Welsh, best of what we have got at the moment
Reid or O'Keefe or Grant or anyone who wants to show a bit of ticker

I AM BLOODY DISGUSTED IN THAT EFFORT and I will be very disappointed if Eagleton and Addsion stay in that side

I was sitting behind the goals and guess what I felt sorry for him

He was our full foward

How tragic was that

I would like to know our win ratio with him in our side

You are right, played out of position (2nd week in a row as well) poor poor team selection, is much too slow and not in the least bit creative to be a forward

I think you will find there will be not too many changes, just listened to Rockets press conference on bigpond and said that there would be no knee jerk changes and that a couple of young blokes didn't take there chance as well as a few of the senior players. Went onto say it was easy to fix the problems......

I'm usually not one to join in these player bashing thread but today was beyond the pale.

The one player who seems to escape scrutiny but was again ineffectual is Hahn. His season stats flatter him as he's kicked a few bags when we've got on top on ordinary teams.

Addison was ordinary but thrown to wolves a bit playing one out up forward, prob same with Stack but I wish he'd stand up.

Wood has to stay, so hopefully Murph and Picken in, Stack and Addison out.

When Gia and Higgins fit, Hahn and Eagle out.
