Fair enough too, they looked pretty good the other night against the aint quites. They used speed to take it right up to them so we need to counter that with more speed.
Out - Jackson
In - Webberley (sub)
Yep, that would be my side as well. Initially I thought Edwards game was worse than it it actually was and so he holds his spot. For mine:
Out: Vickery Jackson(susp)
In: Post Webberley
B: Newman McGuane Grimes
HB: Deledio Rance Houli
C: Conca Cotchin Grigg
HF: King Post Martin
F: Nahas Riewoldt Miller
R: Graham Tuck Foley
I/C: Webberley White Edwards
Sub: Nason
If Jackson somehow beats the MRP then Jackson stays in, Tuck goes to the bench & Cotchin moves to ruck rover.
For mine:
Out: Vickery Jackson(susp)
In: Post Webberley
I'd suggest he was either a late withdrawal cause of illness or was yanked in case we needed extra cover in our game.I have asked this question before but know one seems to know. Why did Webbs pull out of the Coburg game just before the bounce. injured maybe?
Don't mess with a winning team.
I wouldn't make any unforced changes, however if Jackson gets weeks then Tuck should come in and we can move Miller to the sub.
What does Nason bring to the team? Right now he is too small, and i'd say a touch scared of the contest. We can't afford to carry a fringe player. Morton and Collins are better skilled and more damaging with the ball. I feel a bit sorry for Nason getting dumped back out of the team but he just isn't good enough right now.
Everyone wants McGuane and Graham banished because they are not stars, but they never will be and there is no shame in that. Graham is our best option in the ruck. We can only experiment with Browne or Derrickx if Graham gets injured or if we are playing a team with diabolical ruck stocks. Likewise McGuane. It seems he is ahead of Thursfield in the eyes of the coaching staff, and Moore is not ready yet.
I don't know what to make of Edwards. He looks flashy and gets the ball but doesn't have the poise that our better onballers have. Often he's forced to make a rushed disposal that goes anywhere. We may well be playing him out of position.
jackson is gone, so tuck to start on the ground. connors in as sub, and hopefully played on the wing when he is subbed in.
nason needs to do something to avoid being dropped, has never held a tackle in his life. does not get involved in the play enough, (turning his back instead of being an option) needs more games at vfl level running through the middle picking up possesions IMO.
no need for him as a crummer.
with King doing the job expertly, white and nahas rotating through the fwd/mid.
Dan, doubt you'll be seeing Collins figure much at Carlton from here on in. Papers stamped!
This...Batchelor being a surprise late out, means if fit he comes in. If he is injured then Webberley to come inLudicrous if match committee makes any other change other than Jackson if suspended. The team is coming together, playing good footy, so why reward them with dropping players because NO ONE is in that bad of form.
If Jacko is out, Batchelor in.
white will not be the syb, has been playign his role well. connors was crap and injured himself in the coburg game. tuck will be starting 21, but cant tag like jackson does. so really who gets the tagging job?Jackson and Nason out. Batchelor and Connors in.
Tuck in the middle for Jackson and Connors/White sub?
