Davey brings pace and even more tackling to the midfield.

Really like to see froggy back in the team but just unsure as to who comes out.

Really hope Stants is good to play has had a fair bit of press over the past couple of days and be good for him to come out and play a ripper at the gabba.

Hibberd deserves another crack too same as Myers.

I'd drop NLM - still one of the worst stupid FA stats in the league.
I hate to say it but Myers is the natural replacement. My only worry with Myers is that maybe he is one of those guys who will always rip it up at VFL but can't quite get to AFL level. Also feeling that Pris is in the same boat.

Davey brings pace and even more tackling to the midfield.

He has not played midfield in 4 years why would he start now?

Myers has ripped it up in the VFL playing mid mostly.

At AFL level he has been played mostly as a key defender. Give him a run as an inside mid at AFL level to compare. The problem is that you would need to see Lonergan as the sub for that to happen most likely. Stanton doesn't play the same game as Myers in the midfield.

Maybe Howlett can play Stants' role and Myers go inside, though I don't know if Howlett has the tank.

I'd like to see Heppell given a go in the midfield, so Hibberd can play back. Myers could replace NLM. No other changes for mine.

i remember last year myers playing in the midfield against the bulldogs early in the year and tore it up!

has blitzed in the centre the last two weeks in the ressies, so why not give him a crack at it this week.

i reckon give spike the week off this week so he is fully fresh for the dreamtime game where he will be really needed to play on someone like the push up king or the lebo brothers(houli /nahas)

very hard to make these calls these days, as if anyone doesnt think squad/fatigue management isnt being considered by all clubs they are very naive.

I thought Myers, Hibberd and Browne were very impressive at Windy Hill on Sat.

Wouldn't shock me if one, two or three of them came in. Davey, who didnt play, also a chance one would think.

I had just assumed it went Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, Richmond.

As that would be typical of the AFL ensuring that the biggest drawing clubs had the latest byes, to ensure they were high up the ladder to maintain interest and crowd sizes. So WTF is GC doing with another bye already?

What I have seen in the VFL over the last 5 games, it's hard to say who deserve a game more. Myers has more impact on games than any other midfielder IMO. Dyson has been the most consistent and would like to think he would be rewarded in the future if his form continues. Prismal has been playing well, last week his disposals had more impact than they normally do. Hibberd's defensive side has been the most impressive out of all listed players in the VFL. Davey and Colyer have been on par, been real good in patches and then go quite. I wouldn't be expecting Browne to play, but his form has been good. I wouldn't be massively against bring him in, he just has that class about him, couldn't see why he couldn't have the same impact as melk.

If Stanton is rested, I think Prismal will come in if we are after a similar type. I wouldn't mind Melk going out for any of the players listed above. It's a good
problem to have

I wouldn't think we'll need to make too many, though I'm not sure how Stanton will pull up.

My only omission would be Lovett-Murray. Conceded 3 very poor goals within a quarter and a half yesterday, gave away two silly free kicks, played the man not the ball, and was the only passenger for mine.

Myers has been best on ground (according to reports) the last two weeks for Bendigo.

I'd bring him in to either replace Lovett-Murray as the 3rd/4th tall, or even play him as a key defender (as he was before the injury), releasing Hurley forward. We just seem one tall short down there at the moment, robbing us of our star in the forward line (Hurls).

If Stanton's sore, I'd look at bringing in Colyer, to provide run, though nobody can cover the ground that Stants does.
