Except Langdon cant kick over a jam tin. Cripps was arguably our best forward the last 2 weeks. His season prior to that has been poor but he is finding some solid form.
His position has changed which has resulted in the change of goals, his role prior to last year was half forward, turnover, deep pocket player. Now they have been playing him further down the field and on the wing

I don`t think we are that badly off to snatch a win , if you have a good look at the Carlton team they don`t look that strong .. Believe guys
Thinking the same. More worried about our form at the SCG than the team that plays tomorrow.

Pinching a win here would require us to show some fighting spirit and do some hard work. When was the last time we saw that from this team this year? The Power game?

Interested in this game, time for the young mids to step up.

Also would love to see Williams get more game time, seeing as how the forward line is now very short (Darling and Waterman are undersized). Could be good to see him resting there, plus having the licence to jump at the ball without Allen and JK in there taking priority.

Will be a stress free game in a way, because I don't really expect a win like I have the past 2 weeks only to be disappointed. Of course we're capable of winning this, but it will require one hell of fan effort. The team might surprise us though.

Anyone not that fussed by the Jones dropping?

I like Jones and think he has more upside than Langdon, but both go missing in games and both are inconsistent. Jones was also quite poor last week, in a game we needed runners.

Neither are going to be the difference between a win and a loss, so happy for Langdon to get a run now.
Not as bothered with Langdon as others seem to be, but it would be nice for Jones to get a few games in a row for his own development. I like Langdon's pressure and pace.

He uses the ball very well, but can't find it enough which is the problem. However neither can Ryan at the moment either.

I don't think we love acknowledging it, but Ryan has been poor since coming back from injury. Doesn't look fully fit. Last year he was winning the contested ball, hurling himself into the contest, I don't think he's quite contact ready yet.

Have to wonder if maybe a game in the WAFL was the way to go? Story of our year though, don't blame our coaching staff too much, not a lot of choice.

Last year we won a lot of games on the back of Naitanui, Kelly and Ryan. Ryan has been out and not in excellent form so far this year, now Kelly is out and we need Ryan to lift. He might not be physically capable yet, but we need it.

Hope that Luke Edwards is given a few games in a row for his development even if he is quiet tomorrow.
And I hope that he gets to attend more than his share of centre bounce downs. Would it actually kill the coaching staff to play midfielders in the midfield rather than leaving them in no mans land as a high half forward?

be by choice, The swans train on an outside field (AFL) across the road from the SCG. But if a field is enough to disrupt a team - how do you spell resiliance?
Not like that;)
