Actually it proves my point more. Swift was 2009 like I said. I though Shuey was 2010 but it makes your attempt at proving me wrong even more invalid.

That only leaves Gaff and Stevens of which Gaff is the only new midfielder we have since between 2010 and 2013.

That's four drafts of believing we had what it took to win a premiership and drafting around it.
That is really damning for us.

Sure, experience is great and you'd think someone who has been around as long as he has would be a good thing. But it stands for absolutely nothing if he plays like a hamburger. I'd rather a young player makes those mistakes and learns from them, than the most experienced player on our list. I could live with young players making mistakes and developing, i can't live with Butler and Mcginnity doing it.

IN: Schofield, McInnes, Bennell??? (midfield pace is what we need, try Bennell as a midfielder? Biggest concern for me would be his accountability to an opponent or lack thereof)

Losing Brown is huge, I'm devastated about that. Hard pill to swallow for the club but the hardest hit in all of it is Mitch. Hopefully he can have a really good recovery and be ready for R1 2016 with Ezy.
