Our bests from the west coast site:

West Coast: Hurn, Priddis, Shuey, Cripps, Masten

No mention of Gov or Naita? How does Priddis get in there? He was deplorable. Also, a very innocuous 30 touch game from Masten.

And people are still wanting him out. Look, i'm not a Mcginnity lover by any stretch, but he played good tonight and if you can't see that then you obviously don't understand footy. He'll play this week, and i'll hazard a guess that he'll be tagging Kade Simpson the exact same way as he did with Murphy tonight..
This, people need to understand the role's players are given, adjust their judgement accordingly, then comment.

lol...it's good to see that they can 'sort by' disposals when deciding who was "best"..

I mentioned it in the Priddis thread the AFL site just gets the players with the most disposals and puts them in the best. They do it every game. No point in reading it

That may be so but Sheed is the last person who should be dropped if we're looking to the future (which we should be). I'd drop Mcginnity, Butler, Priddis and Wellingham well before him.

I guess although if we are still in the interest of winning games I wouldn't mind Sheed being put on slow-burn and being allowed to develop in the WAFL.

Who the **** writes these things?

Best: Gov, Nic Nat, Shuey, Cripps, Hurn

In ANY other side in the competition Priddis, Masten, Butler, Rosa, Sheed, Gaff, Wellingham would all be sent back to the reserves after a performance like this.

Realistically I don't think we'll win too many games this year with the injuries we've got. Darling, McKenzie and Brown out makes a huge difference to the team, it's too much to cover for.

We had a lot of passengers in the middle tonight but we really need to differentiate between toilet performances, average games and people who did their jobs (albeit with some heavy flaws).

Sheed (albeit he worked his way into it) & Priddis were toilet tonight, Rosa and Gaff had average games and Selwood & Masten did their jobs though burnt the ball a fair bit.

Shuey was our most dangerous and consistent midfielder but had a fairly average second half.

Wellingham was like a plumber tonight; couldn't really assess his performance fairly as he and Yeo were plugging holes all over the ground.

Thought Masten was very good early, faded a bit as the game went on but was easy in our best half dozen.

OUT: Brown, McGinnity, Butler, Rosa

IN: McInnes, Newman, Bennell, Duggan

I am assuming that Schofield may not be available due to concussion. Bennell should never have been left out of the team for Butler. Rosa's kicking was atrocious tonight and that final quarter ****up should have consequences. Newman for McGinnity is class for ass.

I agree with all bar Rosa. He had 27 touches (74% efficiency) 9 marks and 4 tackles. Wasn't the best by any stretch, but I think he deserves his spot next week. Remember Rosa works into form, cutting him now won't improve him any later on.

The way our luck is we will be lucky to get the team back to perth before it MH370's it.

No pun intended, unless there was something spectacularly witty about it, in which case, definitely.
There's a very famous kid's book called Where is the Green Sheep (well, very famous with parents of young kids)....
