Really disappointed that Lamb isn't playing boys, you have an out and out star with him. Is it purely weather based? I'd love to see him played all year and fast tracked, he is a ripper size and will only continue to grow. I thought he was a real shining light against the Dogs!
I think they had a set plan for him to play limited minutes as sub last week, but that got thrown out the window with Brown going down. With him playing pretty much 80% game time in the end instead of 25% I guess they had to reassess and leave him out this week + the weather wouldn't have helped. I certainly don't think it had anything to do with how he played - for a first gamer of his size you couldn't fault much (although it would've been good to see him clunk a good contested mark).

I think he'll play at least a couple more times in the next month or two, but once Darling comes back he might get left out. Still needs to improve his endurance and put on a bit more bulk.
not sure endurance is too high on his list of improvements. it is one of his strengths.

I'm liking our in's atm. Hopefully Schoey is better for the run last week despite the knock he took. Hopefully Duggan can come in for a run towards the end of the third quarter. Tunners is built for the wet and Bennell is class if he shows up.

I think Nelson could show a fair but down back in wet conditions. This guy loves the slop. His father was a mudder....his mother was a mudder!

many WCE supporters want change to the midfield as its been the same players for the past five years and they have proven to be underwhelming, they have had their chance and its time for change.

i think Simmo is addressing that, its not going to change drastically over night but Simmo has a plan in place and hopefully by the end of the year and for the start of next season we see some of our young players locked into the starting midfield line up.

Yeah, fair enough - I knew it didn't sound right when I typed it out. :)

I think I meant to say that he just needs a bit more time to settle and some WAFL games might help him figure out how to impact throughout the game more consistently - last week he was pretty inactive before half time (which does say something positive about his endurance).

I really want to watch this game but I still remember Yarran outrunning Selwood and Co, talk about mental scars...

If we **** this one up, it's going to be a really crappy weekend

We better not be wearing our f***ing clash jumpers tonight...

Na club have already said its tri panel vs carltons white clash. Why we don't just make a batch or bloody home sponsored wings I don't know. We've got 4 different training guernsey designs (navy with sgio, navy with banwest, gold with sgio, gold with bankwest) maybe we could save some money and just have one of each of those, and use that money to make up a home royal wings set. It's not that bloody hard!!!

Naitanui, Ablett, Shuey and LeCras starting in the middle? [emoji110][emoji97]

Not that either club will play finals, but you can bet your bottom dollar if this was a final the AFL would find a way to get Carlton in their home navy strip.

AFL Flogs.

Sorry guys, I don't know much about Duggan... What kind of player is he? Def/Mid/Fwd? Tall/small/mod?

6'6 midfielder weighs 108kg broke our time trial record this year. Has put three of our players in hospital during the preseason. Plays like a huge Daniel Kerr
