Out: Gawn, Rodan, Pedersen (if Clark's fit)

In: Dunn, Strauss, Clark (if fit)

Stiff with Gawn, but the reality is that with him up forward we're a man down when it comes to applying forward pressure - he's shown a bit in the seniors, but he should stay in the VFL until he can play first ruck.

Out: Pedersen, Jamar, Rodan

In: Clark/Dawes (Fitz if neither ready), Spencer, Strauss

Please give Davey a full game.

Out: Pedersen, McKenzie
In: just about anyone

And here is the weekly "Jamar should be dropped because he is crap, I've had enough, no more" post for the week. He wasn't even close to one of our worst and Spencer is half the player he is. Won't happen.

In: Dawes, Clark, Viney
Out: Pedersen, Rodan, Blease

Gawn could possibly go as that line up leaves us a touch tall up forward but it's hard to drop the big fella. He is in good form. Wouldn't be surprised to see Dawes play another week at Casey either.

Dunn and perhaps Strauss in I would say.

Not sure about Blease. In/out/in/out. He goes back to Casey, plays well, back in to the firsts, subbed off etc. etc. Has so much to offer, but is perhaps our most inconsistent player, penny not quite dropping there somehow for the moment.

Also, could maybe be the week to let Tom Mc go to Casey and get some confidence back, Carlton aren't exactly weighed down with tall forwards.

Really? I think he gives us a fair bit of run, endeavour and always has a crack. Sure, he may have had a shot at one point today when he could have found a teammate, but who hasn't done that? At least he's in there getting the thing and working hard. He had 8 inside 50's today and kicked 1.3. Doesn't take much to turn that into 3.1 and all of a sudden we've got a valuable contribution from a small forward, something that this team is screaming out for particularly in the absence of Clark and Dawes.

I see people have included Dawes. Is he a chance is he? Did I miss something?

Played a full game in the VFL, kicked two and played well from all reports. I think he might be a chance to come in this week if the coaches are happy enough with his fitness levels.

Blease was ok at times today, he can break a line, blew himself up a bit though. People have previously suggested he needs some games in a row, not being in then straight out, so i think he should keep his spot for a few weeks in a row.

Yeah fair call, can't argue that he was putting in but just some of his decision making heading into the 50 looked pretty bad on a number of occasions. We have a few similar type runners in our team, Bail, Evans, M.Jones and Blease and I think one of them has to go, either Bail or Blease this week

Blease and Strauss really should have cemented themselves in the best 22 by now.

Those 2 picks have cost us dearly in my opinion.

Both have also had broken legs unfortunately!

I think both have a future, Neeld really rates Blease but he's started poorly this year.

Oh damn, I thought he was playing in the VFL next week. haha. Good news then, hope he comes in. If not, he MUST come to the G for the Gold Coast game. Would love to see that combination live! (Clark and Dawes) #twintowers
