No, he has to be promoted to the senior list, in place of an injured senior-listed player, who then must miss 8(?) weeks. However, we have the right to upgrade a rookie at Rd 11.

And its interesting how people are wondering why Griff went off instead of Vick, well the stats were 14 i50`s directed at Vick then the next best was Cotch 4 and 3 to both Lids and Jack.

So to me its obvious what the game plan was, and if Vick went off and Griff stayed it would have been abandoning that plan. Even though it didnt work in my opinion, im glad panic didnt take over as we were still in the game to the end. Next week i hope its rectified and Vick goes back to being the second tall and Jack is the key focus up forward.

Can play tall all we want, if the delivery inside 50 is like the other night, they won't do a thing.
Arguably our best user of foot (Martin) and number 2 in the AFL in the score chain stat (behind Dane Swan) is playing in the back line.

I had nightmares about his rd 1 performance last year. I don't mind Vickery and think Richmond would be better off trying to help him out with a few small forwards since he provides a good contest at worst.

McDonut needs to play his natural game up forward this week, he's played his whole junior career as a forward, Dimmas whole running off halfback school of Hardwick clone obsession is becoming tiring, 10 or so years honing your skills as a forward then 5 weeks honing your skills as a back and straight into the AFL. Surely he'd be better off building on his foundations as a forward, you can learn to tackle as a forward.

Vickery on notice, he was the player that could've been a match winner, he was there at most critical contests, a bit more effort and he'll be better. I've noticed over the years that his form drops after signing a new contract.

Keep Ty in against the Blues. Not great conditions for talls on GC. Was terrible and kicked 2. On track for 40 goals at that rate and will improve.

Petterd is the one for me that I would consider for Knights as our ball going inside 50 was poor but still only if Knights's fitness levels are up for it.

Jackson stays out for another week or two until conditioned. Really our improvement should come from within this 22. Ty, JR need to lift. Conca and Ellis can give more. Rance and Chaplin were beaten by rookies - they should be better for the run as well.

Ty was great last year, great pre-season, very good Pies and Bombers game, had an ordinary Suns game like the majority of our team, and everyone wants him sacked.
