Young started as sub, came on early and got involved, gave away 2 free kicks that weren't free kicks, and then seemed to be banished to the bench or the flanks for the rest of the game because of the umpires mistakes.

Career over at Port I guess. Bring on Mitchell or Logan next week.

Both Ah Chee and Moore need to come in. It's about time we go back to actually rewarding players doing the work in the SANFL.
Correct.Colquhoon(spell check?)played a serviceable game I thought but his SANFL form had,nt warranted his promotion over AhChee or Moore. Some of Hinkley;s selections of late are dumbfounding.

Youngy charged in and got unfairly penalised. It shattered his confidence I think? He will be an out as well as Sam Gray. The endeavor is there but skills certainly are not.

oh and i would like to see harvey get the next game just to see what he can do. maybe in stewarts place
It couldn't hurt.Somrtimes players perform better at the higher level due to better players around them.

Westhoff is back on my shit list. He is a witches hat with a beard when he doesnt have the ball, and Jack Watts shit with it. Time to have a rest and have a shave unco

Literally zero chance carhoon is dropped. Zero.

I would drop Sam Gray and Paul Stewart. Bring in Ryder and Trengove and play either Clurey or Trengove in the forward line.

White for Amon is pretty obvious.

Young for Moore or Ah Chee is also obvious.

With those changes we should improve instantly. Schulz and Lobbe are going to need to work hard to learn their new roles though. Both are extremely niche in terms of how they play and we can't carry them when thy have to do something else.

Out: white, s gray, p Stewart, young
In: amon ah chee, ryder Moore

trengove for cluzza too if he is fit

Just select your strongest team each week. Again if we beat carlton by 100 points it doesnt mean you go unchanged into next week.

Ye
I'd like to see the non contributing forwards out, ie S Gray, Stewart.
Replace them with genuine midfielders, leave Wingard and R Gray forward more often.

So I'd lose White and S Gray, bring in Moore and AhChee.
Stewart for Ryder.
Yes less pacy, but lets just beat Carlton on the inside and forward class like an actual team would.
Flash doesn't win you crap (unless someone like Polec who can do both).

Yep. Like the thinking. We have lost pace, change the plan to suit what you have. Until this week I hade Sammy G in because of structure, but time to forget and reset. Our small forwards need to be Wingard and Robbie Gray. I agree with the sentiment we are missing one or two bigger bodied mids. Wingard ang Robbie are good mids but not big bodied..

Ryder comes in for Stewart.
Amon comes in for Gray
Moore comes in for White
Jackson for Clurey or Jonas
Someone teach Lobbe how to mark.
Amend game plan accordingly.

I happy to keep the hoon on actually. Remembering his last afl effort his first game was similar but once he got up to pace he was great and we know he has upside unlike others se have brought in

OUT: Stewart, Young, S. Gray, White, Clurey

IN: Harvey, Moore, Ah Chee, Trengove, Amon

Then drop Lobbe for Ryder when Paddy comes back. Time to build for 2016.
Good suggestions. Also agree, put game time in the next tier and build for 2016. History suggests that 2015 has passed us by, but if injecting new enthusiasm gives us a miracle, then go from there.

I'm all for giving Harvey a crack if he's ready but i thought the general consensus was he doesn't have the tank for AFL at present.

Edit: **** it the seasons shot can always sub him out

Stuff it play him out of the square that wouldnt consume too much energy let him wrestle and lead. The blues backline is pretty short we need to expose this. Handcuff him to a goal post which will let schulz play hf/wing/half back/ruck/anything other than forward

You are correct on all counts. With the current 22, could come in for Stewart, but if Ryder is available, they he would replace Schultz. Schultz this year is bothering me.

Can't see us dropping both Stewart and S.Gray given White will also make way with the hamstring. Tend to think S.Gray will hold his place, Stewart gave us absolutely nothing last night.

Doubt Young will keep his place. You don't start as sub and then play like shit for three quarters and keep your spot.

Clurey probably goes for Trengove.

So I think something along the lines of:

OUT - White (injured), Stewart, Young, Clurey
IN - Moore, Amon, Ah Chee, Trengove

What I would like to see. (Assuming Ryder isn't 100% ready)
OUT: Clurey, Stewart, White, S.Gray
INS: Jacko, Ah Chee, Moore, Neade
Amon stiff but don't know if it's a 1 week injury. Stewart unlucky but we have been lacking proper midfield rotations to go through the guts.
