Haven't watched much of Carlton this season. Does Bolton run with any taggers these days?

Watch them against bulldog, very attacking team with no taggers really like their no 1 pick I see him better than a.Pearce.

In: Blakely or Mundy(whoever is more match fit), Tucker, Grey

Grey takes over from Suban as the blocker/hard nut, Blakely or Mundy takes over from Barlow and Tucker plays as the wing or halfback

Suban shut down Boomer IMO last week for more than a half and Brady Grey as much as I like him can't shut guys like Boomer down at this stage of his career with 1 AFL game of experience.

I think suban should stay for this carlton match , his efficiency blocking allow fyfe to score 4 goal vs NM, only Mayne outshine suban with his good set shoot conversion. ( best moment on ground)

suban and d.Pearce will score at least 4 goal with d.p bog vs calton.

Sorry I was just guessing having seen him from previous years. Have not seen any Carlton games this season.

So do you expect to have any run with/defensive players against Freo. Both clubs changing game plan and players - you got a heap of them from GWS but somehow when we wanted only one they would rather let him be a runner for South Fremantle than trade him to us.

Suban shut down Boomer IMO last week for more than a half and Brady Grey as much as I like him can't shut guys like Boomer down at this stage of his career with 1 AFL game of experience.

Watched the replay. You shouldn't give Suban credit for Harvey, he was only on him 2-3 times that I could find. Ibbo played on him most of the game from what I could see. Harvey had no impact until very late in the second half when Ibbo wasn't on him. It looked like his first damaging touch was due to poor checking at a stoppage by Suban. Nick seemed to be out of favour and played exclusively on the wing in the second half. He didn't play on Harvey at all for the rest of the game. Sheridan and Sutcliffe shared the load at times and Johnson in a mismatch at one stage in the 4th. Didn't really see much of Boomer in the second half until late in the final quarter - he had very little impact overall.

Whilst watching the replay I tried hard to see what value Suban provided but most of the time he just seemed lost. Ran around a bit and at times looked like he was going to do something good. A couple of his handballs out of congestion led to goals but the other times he ended up over using it and turning it over. I think he laid one block all game that I saw. His normally high work rate and fight for the win seems far more elusive this year. I defended him last season (because he was better than a lot of people said) but this year he seems well off the pace, isn't doing much off the ball, doesn't get much of the pill, and when he does have it, often makes poor choices or over uses it. The fact he didn't seem to play in the middle at all in the second half tells me he probably will get dropped this coming week. We have some far better options playing on the wing than him imo.

Since freo paying suban wages for afl match , I don't think dropping him to wafl is good idea . they might all turn out like Colin slyvia and just take the pay out.

Carlton are a young squad, I doubt they would be sending out any run with players as there would be no advantage to their development.

Zarke could be available for selection. I would not oppose bringing him straight back in as #1 ruck with Griff playing majority forward.

Ed Curnow may be given a job throughout the game as he did during the second half on the Bont. Even then it wasn't a hard tag like back in the Malthouse era (ECurnow, Whiley, Everitt, and the entire team doing tagging jobs).

Other than that I wouldn't expect any run with jobs.

In the play I noticed, he makes good position and decisions coming off the wing and half back. His last game for peel I think he kicked 2 and had 20 odd touches from a wing.

That why he is the future for d.Pearce position if his body is bigger will be a big help to hills.not that I want but got a bad feeling Ross going to bring back C.Pearce in this game hope I am wrong.
