Of course they do indeed. But the clubs agree with me it seems. Play it safe with senior players with a proven record of getting injured all the time. .

Walsh said it was likely that all five players would have to work their way back through the VFL after being sidelined for extended periods of time.

(Five being Elliott Moore Varcoe Reid and Smith). I remember that guy called Smith....

This really opens up the door for Sier now. It will be between him, Brown, Wills Murray or possibly Appleby to replace Wells.

But they can keep going nicely in their 20s.
At that point they do start to show their age.

Not a bad gig if you can get it.

Having been to studs numerous times, those Sires know what’s coming, they can sniff the breeze...
And when they get amorous they shriek and screw, and become very bull like.

He doesn’t desrve to be in the team. 6 disposals is atrocious. Even an injured Wells managed more than that.

He's playing as a lock down small defender, he doesnt need to be getting much of the ball, just needs to shut his direct opponent out of the game. If he was playing mid and only touching the pill 6 times then yes you'd question his spot, but for now he's safe in the team. I rate Appleby as a player for the future but for now Levi offers more experience and flexibility to his game. We have enough backs capable of getting it 20-25 times and they're much better kicks than Greenwood.

Not huge amounts to take from it, but the things that stood out to me were when he was asked about whether Moore would be at Collingwood next year, to which the answer was ‘yes, we haven’t had any indication that he will be going anywhere’, and he was also very coy when asked about Lynch.

I may have missed a bit because I stupidly didn’t go to the loo before he came on and then had to go.
