Oh, I've definitely seen a change... Just still nervous. If we win the next 3 weeks without too many hiccups I think I'll be sold.

Essendon will be the real danger game of the three, for no other reason than they are better teams than Carlton and the Suns.

Three wins and some percentage and we are clearly in the top four and ready to take on the top teams to fight to stay in the four (or advance to top two.....we can all dream!!!!)

But lets just take it one victim at at time.

I think if we go into the game not switched on, we will scrape in a win by a few goals. If we play with the same focus and desire we showed in the first half of the season, we will win by 10+ goals. The only thing that could defeat us in this game is ourselves.

I think the three likely scenarios are either:

1. Appleby in, with Greenwood moving to the middle, like suggested above.

2. Brown in.

3. Sier in.

I highly doubt Crocker or Oxley play.

Just back from the Club 42 function which was the traditional coaches' night with Bucks, Longmuir, Buddha, Rivers, Gotch in attendance.

Bucks - as is his wont - spoke candidly, honestly and excellently. Unfortunately injury news isn't what you want to hear.

Said that Elliott was 1 month away, Moore and Reid 3 weeks away and Varcoe 2 weeks away.

Let's pray for no further injuries in the next few weeks as according to Bucks the VFL options aren't quite ready!

When he returns Darcy will be played behind the ball initially and then he'll reassess. Seemed to imply that Reid and Moore may well be competing for the same spot!
