Happy to see him be set upon Carlton, but just happy to see him finally take the field. He's only 20 but it feels like it's been a long journey.

Sier has been playing some very good footy at VFL, but he's got something which makes me think that his game will thrive at the higher level...although I'll temper my expectations for a while.

This is a big game believe it or not, the Collingwood of previous years had been known to win a big game then lose the week after (last year beat Geelong then week after lost to Carlton)

A big test to see if we have truly evolved because we should put Carlton away comfortably. Lets hope we do.

A few years ago, or even last, I would never have believed Sier likely to play AFL. Can't think of a better game for him to debut. Hope his strength at the contest and high possession rate continues at senior level. With him and De Goey in the middle we have some seriously big bodies in our midfield.

Just the way he said it, seemed like he was chuffed and proud.
