i personally think we should give fletch a shot on fev. ryder then plays on fisher.. we dont have anyone who is really going to stop him so we obviously need to cut off the supply which will be difficult...

either fletch or ryder to play on fev and if ryder gets the job then fletcher should play off fisher and cut off fevs leads.

Sounds like a good plan. Fletch is in good form at the moment and is capable of keeping Fev quite (3-4 goals). Ryder is also a good match up for Fisher.

I was just wondering if MM will come in to play on FEV. Fev too fast and strong for Ryder. Too fast for Fletcher. Probs too fast for Mal aswell but at least he could compete admirably in a 1 on 1. NLM is also and option but would probs get towelled up in the air...... Might not matter anyway as we are playing collingwood tomoz so he will probs et reported

Surely Slattery has to be dropped. Wirra could have kicked 6 or 7 last night.
I used to think highly of him. I actually hope he stays in your side. He is all at sea deep in the forward line.

What are you on about? Slattery did an acceptional job on Wirrapanda after Rama was getting taken to the cleaners. All damage was done on Rama and Slattery was able to keep him relatively quiet in the second half.

He has been great in the past three weeks after being shocking before that. I myself am not totally convinced of him yet but he has peformed well in the past month and deserves recognition for it

IN-Lovett, Houli, and possibly Gumbleton/Michael/Daniher depending on todays game.

OUT-Jetta(put him in the 2's and give him some confidence),
Atkinson (looks very raw, doubt we'll see him much for the rest of the year),
Nash (lacks defesive pressure, prehaps he needs a more attacking position, prehaps as a winger.)

IN: Lovett, Houli
OUT: Nash, Atkinson

Hopefully Gumby will be back in the seniors in a few weeks, really looking forward to seeing him play with the big boys.

Who takes the Shag, Judd and Stevens.

Kicked a bag of 7.

My personal opinon would be Paddy Ryder.
Shut him down in the last quarter and a half in round 3 and
would be good to go to him again.
McVeigh will take Judd no doubt about it.
In previous weeks Welsh has taken the slower midfielder so i think
he will take Stevens

Thoughts?

Re: Who takes the Shag, Judd and Stevens.

McVeigh ---> Judd

Welsh ---> Stevens

Slattery ---> Betts?

Ryder ---> Fev

Fletcher ---> Loose in the backline

The only reason Franklin kicked 9 was because they dragged Fletcher out of the backline, assuming no one is going to drag him out him and Ryder can limit Fev's goals.

Re: Who takes the Shag, Judd and Stevens.

I think Welsh could do alright on Judd if he completely sacrificed his game. This would allow McVeigh to play on Stevens and get plenty of the ball at the same time. McVeigh is more damaging with the ball than WElsh.

Re: Who takes the Shag, Judd and Stevens.

Welsh------>Judd
McVeigh---->Stevens
Ryder------>Fev
NLM-------->Fisher
Fletch------>Loose man

actually kicked 8

Re: Who takes the Shag, Judd and Stevens.

Ryder matches Fev in speed and height but how does he go with strength?
I am fine with either Welsh or McVeigh on Judd or Stevens. :D
