Ryder matches Fev in speed and height but how does he go with strength?
I am fine with either Welsh or McVeigh on Judd or Stevens.

90% of fevs goals are on the lead, if ryder can stop fev on the lead he wont kick more then 3 goals...

Sounds good to me!
Fev tends to use his strength to hold an opponent back and then attacks the ball at full pace, I hope Ryder can keep his feet, I love that kid
I have to admit that Carlton played a great game today and I really enjoyed watching it.

Given that Ryder is probably our only defender capable of matching Fevola for speed and height, we will have to go with him, but I do have a bad feeling about it.

Ryder seems bereft of confidence at the moment, and due to his lack of confidence his game is suffering from both an attacking and defensive sense.

As was proven again today, Fevola is in another class when it comes to performing on the big stage, and could be in for another bag on the big stage come next week.

I hope Paddy can do the job, but like I said, I do have reservations...

Someone needs to go to murphy, he has been great the past 2 weeks.

Ryder/Pears > Fev
Myers > Murphy (probably wont happen but i recon it would be good)

i really think you guys are overlooking Murphy, he has been more damaging to the opposition than Stevens in recent weeks.

going on what knights has done so far there is no way fletch will be a loose man, i dont think knights has ever really used a loose man in defence and never really puts numbers behind the ball hence his attacking game plan.. its why we get annihilated by good forwards week in week out

None of your defenders can beat Fev. You will have to put Ryder on him with Fletcher sitting in a hole in front of him.

Monfries on Scotland. Scotland plays a similar role to McLeod sweeping in the back half and Angus did the job on him.

Welsh on Stevens.

McVeigh on Judd.

Fletcher on Fev. I've heard Fev say before that Fletch is the best FB he's played on. Will need help though to block his leading space.

Rama was very important in the last quarter, i'd like to see him persisted wth on a forward flank. His kicking skills going into the forward fifty could work well.

Hooker has found some form of late and might be worth playing the role Gumbleton would of if fit. Similar type of player, think it would be a good test for him.
