Re: good luck this weekend lads

And it begins. They start making statements which they may well regret come Sunday night. They're getting ahead of themselves.

I had the greatest thought today. Carlton finished 8th or 9th this year, then 4th or 5th next year then, just as they were pushing for number 17, they got caught cheating again, had premiership points stripped, and went to the bottom again. It almost made the conversation with the Collingwood fan bearable. We can dream, eh?:thumbsu:

Cant believe it, you actually had a conversation with a collingwood fan? :p A few more wins and they will be talking premierships. They can wish us all the luck they want, but i still hate the cheating scum more than anything else and i wish we could beat them on sunday. Dont like our chances, but yeah we can dream in one way or another. Unfortunately Ben, dont think your dream will come true, i wouldn't think their that stupid to cheat again.

Forgive me Knighter, for I have sinned:D

We live in hope.

Re: Who takes the Shag, Judd and Stevens.

Jetta to be dropped. Lovett-Murray to be droped or moved into the forward line got no clue why we pay him in defence

Re: Who takes the Shag, Judd and Stevens.

Fev has given Fletcher and Michael some floggins over his career, would you gamble with McPhee on him or is he too slow? I think Ryder though but then who plays on Fisher and Waite/Kreuzer? Fev is much stronger that Ryder but this game will be interesting...

Out: Jetta , Lovett-Murray
In: Hooker and possibly Bellchambers or Pears love that kid
Lovett Murray has had 2 good games in a row and you want to drop him, not only that but you want to bring in 2 players who obviously aren't ready for AFL yet (hooker and bellchambers), get a clue mate.

Out: Jetta, Rama
In: Houli, Lovett

jetta played better against the eagles than he had the previous couple of weeks so i doubt he'll get dropped. knighta loves him anyways. with davey out his pressure alone gets him a game

atkinson has to go out, rama should as well

lovett and houli are the obvious replacements. also i'm not too keen on nash at the moment so perhaps ricky could come in for him. from all reports his deadly left foot was back on the weekend

Re: Who takes the Shag, Judd and Stevens.

lol, would be great, but fev is on a roll, and will kick 8 no matter who is on him..
im putting $30 on fev to win the coleman, he is only 10 behind buddy love!

Love your optimism but my money is on the guy who gets 9 shots on goal per game!

McPhee will play across half forward. I think you guys should be concerned about Hille if he can replicate his form from Friday night. If he is on song he could destroy Kreuzer/Hampson/Cloke.

Do us all a favour and beat this mob. We can't do it for the life of us, but please, please Essendon... do it, if only to shut parrot up! :)

I've always liked Essendon - they're team I would support if Collingwood didn't exist... so I'll be cheering hard.

Wash your mouth out :eek::thumbsu:

Mal to maybe come back in and play on Fev?? Flethcher hinted he was in good form for Bendigo and may be in the mix:

“The coaching staff will decide who will play on Fevola at selection later in the week and Mal Michael might be a chance to come back this week after some strong form for Bendigo,"

http://www.essendonfc.com.au/news/news.asp?nid=5862

One on one it will be a good match up, however Fev will be too quick on the run. In saying that Fev will be too stong against either Fletcher or Ryder in a contest and they may be able to bridge the speed issues he presents when on the lead. We don't seem to have someone to cover him for both strength/speed.

We can put Mal on him and get Fletch to block the space, put Ryder on Fisher and let the smaller forwards work themselves out. It will be very interesting com match day and Im sure there will be more than one match up on the shag.

Houli and lovett to come in also for the expense of Atkinson and and maybe Myers. I though Myers was OK aiming for longer targets but didnt pay dividends with accurate passing shots. Rama should stay in and play forward. I also think Nash should hold his spot given he played a better game on the weekend.

Anyone know what the deal is with Hislop/Dyson, not that I personally care much for Dysons return :)
