Ok...might as well get this one started. I reckon there will be only forced changes this week. Man these injuries are/have killed us!!!

Out - Pavlich :(, Grover, Dodd (?)

In - Drum, Gilmore and Head.... ?????????????

GOD HELP US

OR IN - Pearce, Drum and Ruffles

We really havent got much to choose from..... Johnson won't be ready, Mayne wont be really.... ARGH We are gonna get belted!

Marcus Drum, Tim Ruffles, Ryan Murphy, Daniel Gilmore, Josh Head, Chris Hall, Kepler Bradley, Adam Campbell, Clayton Hinkley, Michael Walters, Michael Johnson (hopefully), Clancee Pearce.

Assuming Matthew Pavlich and Antoni Grover are both out injured, what changes would (or could) we make?

Out: Matthew Pavlich, Antoni Grover, Nick Suban
In: Marcus Drum, Michael Johnson, Clayton Hinkley

Michael Johnson is an obvious inclusion if fit. And it's now or never for Drum, we really have nothing to lose by playing him. I'd move McPharlin back, and play both Johnson and Drum up forward. Hopefully the selectors stick with Clarke even with Johnson coming back.

While I'd use the same arguments as last week for dropping Suban. I still think he could benefit from dominating at WAFL level for a couple of weeks.

I'm sure people will suggest dropping guys like Dodd, Thornton, Ibbotson, McPharlin and Mundy. But we just don't have the depth to drop these players.

b: Broughton - Tarrant - Dodd
hb: Duffield - McPharlin - Ibbotson
c: Hill - Hasleby - DeBoer
hf: Headland - Johnson - Thornton
f: Ballantyne - Drum - Mundy

r: Sandilands - Solomon - Schammer

i: Hinkley - Clarke - Foster - Peake

What are the odds that Murphy and Gilmore both come in this week though...

I mean no depth to drop Mundy? The guy was the offspring of a witches hat and an inanimate carbon rod

I'd move Mundy to a forward pocket and play him there. So I wouldn't drop him, but I'd try something else with him.

Chris, why would you drop Suban?
Same story here, every week.

OUT: Pav [inj], Grover [inj???], McPharlin, Mundy
IN: Pearce, Walters, Ruffles, Drum

I see.
So you'd keep the guy who is the definition of pea hearted and get rid of the young bloke?

Interesting way of looking at things?

The only reason to keep Luke is we have no CHB/FB other than Tarrant, who had his colour lowered slightly today...

How is he pea hearted? Explain.

yes...he certainly did. A bit more pressure on their ball carriers when they were kicking it inside 50 would have helped him a bit more though.

out: grover, pavlich, ballantyne, mundy
In: Ruffles, hinkley, campbell, walters

i dont think we will need a big backline against the blues, taz will stop fev, after that they dont have much up forward.

grover is injured, but i would hope he would be dropped anyway

pav- calf 3-5 weeks

ballantyne- incredibly disappointing today, he will become a good player but he reallyu struggled today, and i think a big part of that was that he hadnt played enough wafl before getting a call up

mundy- they need to make an example of someone, i think it should bne mundy, he doesnt tackle, he doesnt shepherd, he has so much more in him than what he is showing at the minute, a stint for subi, might be what he needs... correct me if im wrong, but i dont think he has played for subi ever since he debuted, he might be a bit comfortable

walters can replace ballas
campbell, im not a fan, but we need someone up forward, he is the only candidate
hinkley- is a jet, just needs game time
ruffles- give chippa a go, has heart and skill, play him on a Hff i reckon he could be dangerous

players who would want to have a good game- ibbotson, thornton, schammer and mcpharlin (who will if he is played at CHB)

I explained my reasoning for dropping Suban last week, and it hasn't changed. I just feel that he would benefit from getting 20+ touches in the WAFL and actually having time to dispose of it effectively. Rather than getting 10 touches and being under pressure every week. His disposal efficiency was just 45% today.

While I think a move to the forward line would be more beneficial for Mundy than being dropped. But I wont bother arguing over Mundy, it just isn't worth it.

As for McPharlin, he didn't look all that bad when he was in defence today. Still not at his best, but better than when he was up forward.

And there is no point in dropping Ballantyne. Yes, he probably wasn't match fit. But he is in the team now, and he might as well stay there. He is only going to get better, and playing at home should help next week. It would be stupid to drop him after one match. Going back to the WAFL and kicking an easy 4 or 5 goals yet again wont help him. He needs to learn to play at AFL level and pick up the pace of the game.

walters is fit and if he has a good game i would put him in ahead of ballas who really struggled

Thats probably a good reason why he hasnt missed a game since debut.;)

Outs: Pav, Grover, Mundy, Ibbo
In: Walters, Ruffles, Pearce, Drum/Campbell (no other bigs)

We need to keep giving the young guys a chance. No point dropping Suban (unless he needs a rest) or Ballantyne (give the guy a break was his first game). Mundy has been average all year and Ibbo has most of the time too. A message needs to be sent to these guys. McPharlin would be gone too but we have no kpp unfortunately.

out: pav, grover, mundy
in: campbell, drum, any young bloke that will have a serious crack at it

cant wait till chopper comes back

Pav - Jonno, or if not right Campbell, but only if he went extremely well today for WP, otherwise Kepler, otherwise Drum as last resort.
Grover - Pearce
Dodd - Ruffles

Out: Pav(inj), Grover(inj),
In: Camplbell, Pratt/Peacre

Leave Ibbo in as he likes to play at Subi

Oh FFS, you know what, I don't really care anymore. Just get the season over with already, play whoever you want Freo I no longer care.

I'm just shattered ATM and couldn't care less.

You might not se me on for a while, this loss hit me hard.

Are you serious? What were you expecting? Did you think we'd win or are you just disapointed in the effort?

If there was an effort to be dissapointed with then yes I would have been dissapointed with it. The fact we showed nothing the whole game and it was only Collingwood being crap the 2nd and 3rd quraters that made it look like we were trying, had they kicked more accuratley, not overused the ball then it would have been a 160+ loss. That's what I'm over, our total lack of effort.

Yes I thought we could win it, but I think that every week. Asdd on to that that I don;t think Collingwood are a good side at all yes I think we were a bigger chance than maybe we should have been, but FFS no way would I think that we would serve up that crap.

I think there's two issues; your massively over rating us and seriously underestermating Collingwood.

I didn't see anything that I wasn't expecting other than maybe Ibbo playing so poorly. All the rest was typical really. McPharlin starting forward and crap. Grover crap. Dodd crap. Hase slow and unfit. DJ inconsistant. Mundy weak. Skill errors from everyone. Umpires cheating. The young guys inconsistant. Ballantyne and Clarke not up to it. I could go on...
