The fact is when we traded for Prismal we all heard about his great kicking skills.

He hasn't really shown them has he?

Needs more penetration. Seems to just chip it around.

I think between NLM dempsey hocking and even fletcher we can cover their small forwards and pears and hooker can cover O"halipin and henderson and those defenders chosen all have reasonable skills rebounding unlike slattery. I dont think they will drop myers after one game as knights has plans for him so lets throw him in the middle and let his big body win a few clearances. Murphy and gibbs are obviously ones to stop or at least curb their influence. The forward line of neagle gumby and hille im hoping can stretch their defence and when it falls to ground hopefully williams can show why we got him. Throw in zaka and reimers and we should have a few more avenues to goal even though we will miss the forward line pressure of davey that only means everyone has to work harder. Of course its all hypothetical as knights will never drop slattery or dyson

Now that we know Melksham is in and Spike out...

In: Milk man, NLM, Neagle, Riemers.

Out: McVeigh, Davey, Dyson, Slattery.

For me Neagle is THE most important in, even if he's not the best player/form etc.

Neagle up forward would = Jamison and Thornton on himself & Gumby.

Therefore when we throw Ryder or Hille forward we are forcing Waite or O'hailpin out of their forward line, and into our forward line.
This results in Hooker & Pears on Henderson & Waite/O'Hailpin, leaving us with the freedom to play Fletcher against Betts, who i think is their most dagerous forward.

Take out Neagle and NONE of this happens.

not being a smart a_-e here, but no club would ever make that may changes in the one week, unless injuries are the reason.

Seeing as though Remiers plays his best games against Carlton, id be expecting him to come in as well as Melksham, who obviously has been given the call up. We over the years have been blasted away by your pace, having Lovett out is a massive confidence boost for us, as we were never able to contain him. I wouldnt imagine Davey getting the chop. He is a pest for us as well and id so so happy if he was dropped.

Its going to hopefully be a cracking game with us winning this time hopefully.

Just some food for thought, if we where to take Waite away from our forward line we would substitute a Kruezer/Warnock change in there. That would keep Fletcher honest.

Fair call, although the longer you have Kruz out of the ruck, the better as far as i'm concerned. His athleticism around the ground is a plus for the blues, and when Warnock is in ruck he butchers it so for mine, Kruz is much better served for Carlton as the ruckman.

Not particularly worried about Warnock up forward tbh.

I just cant see how we can continue with both slattery and hocking in the same team, both have terrible skills and decision making... the amount of times hocking has handballed to someone flat footed and under pressure the past 2 weeks has been ridiculous...no wonder we havent seen williams get a kick the bloke doesnt look like getting any form of quick and decent delivery...wouldnt hurt for his work rate to improve however
