Does it really matter who we bring in and send out? Carlton if they are serious will bend us over with no lube and have their way with us.

Just pick the best 22 from a development perspective and go with that at least then the kids can learn from it.

Out

Conca - Time for your rest buddy, you've done well
Miller - I've defended you, but you were woeful today
Batchelor - Injury? If not keep him in, he was very good.
Browne - Was slaughtered

In:
King
Griffiths
Connors
Graham

To learn what?

He hasnt been in form but he's still been good, it's just peoples expectations of him are now ridiculously high.

He's been spitting the dummy a bit as well lately.Do you remember when richo lost form and was abusing the hell of the players around him?, we gave him a week in the magoos and it did him the world of good he came back better than ever. A week in the magoos won't hurt him imo

Gourdis won't be dropped. At least I don't think so. He earnt his spot at VFL with consistent performances. In reality he probably won't make it but they will probably give him a few weeks at the very least to asses his list spot. On the other hand, McGuane is still one of the dumbest players in the AFL 7 years in the system and still makes the same mistakes.

OUT: McGuane, Miller, whoever

IN: Post, Griffiths, King, whoever

10 goal+ loss.

Everyone's playing in the back half. It's a joke. We need to find some quality forwards too.

Like I posted in the other thread a decision has to be made on Post / Griffiths / Astbury / Gourdis and where these blokes will play. Not one week in the forward line and one week in the backline bullshit.

OUT: McGuane, Miller, Conca
IN: Griffiths, King, Post

If Richmond are not putting together a bold package to land a good ruckman next year then Kreuzer will give them the impetus to start working on it.

Too many holes for Carlton to pick us apart.

Shit I feel FLAT.

I hope Griff kicks 5 tomorrow and forces the issue

I wouldnt say jacks been good or bad, just serviceable. hows that for fence sitting?:p

Ins: Post , King, Morton

Outs: Mcguane, Batch (inj), Conca (rested)

Post should have stayed in for Mcgune this week, highly doubt he will be back next week tho.

hardly like for like, hopefully someone stands up at coburg. not many other options.

specail mention to Miller. stand up or get out. while you contest the ball you go to ground far too easily and are too slow.

Apart from his goal tally, I didn't think he was awful today. Gave two away and tried his best to work into the game up the field.
It's not his fault our forward line resembled a minefield in the Congo.

Why Slops:confused: 16 touches 5 marks and the 2nd best eff% He was very good in the last when the pressure was on.
I think I have caused enough grief about Hislop.
I will let it rest.

He was spitting the dummy last year as well but no one cared.

And he's right on track to kick the same amount of goals as last year.

All this crap talk is because of ridiculous expectations on him to somehow be a superhero when he's actually doing well with far more attention and strategy from teams trying to shut him down than last year.

Goodness me.
He has some work to do.:D

He's getting there. Was in our top 10 players today I reckon. WATCH THIS SPACE.

Lol. But he will always be in our best 18-25 range, and to me thats fine. Will be a good filler when injuries and suspensions get us.

What gets me is, so many go on and on about dropping this player, bring this one in, sack this one, we need this bloke to come in, he is a dud, we will win if such and such comes in... Blah bla bla, but we only have 40 players, and probably from 8-12 down they are all similar, dropping of fast in the bottom group.

Why do people think swapping ordinary for ordinary will get us closer to a win in the next game(s)

Newie just gave the Goo a bit of a wrap for his first game in. Obviously Newie hasnt been reading BF and realise just how bad he was and needs to be dropped.

LMFAO agree I can't believe some BF posters wanting to drop goo after 1 game considering mcguane was flipping ordinary and there was a fair bit of pressure in the back half
Interesting to note that the same posters are saying it wouldn't be fair to drop slops after 3 mediocre games at best

Just don't get the hate for goo...give him a chance FFS

The thing with JR is he wasn't in the forward half the entire game. He was on the wing on several occasions and even once or twice I seen him in defensive 50. I think its been a directive from coaching staff to use other forwards eg vick Nahas king. Jack hasn't been used as much as last year definitely, the players might even be thinking subconsciously don't kick it to Jack because of the coaches wanting a spread. I don't know that probably doesn't make sense. But I think when Jack has led and been used inside fifty he has looked dangerous. My two cents.
