Can't consider sandi or barra unless 100% to go. already have barlow and suban still working towards full fitness. against blues we need more pace.
Caaarlton's weak link is their back six. got to get it in quickly (our midfield has to break even with them)and i'd pull the trigger and play Pav up forward for more of the time.
If griffen fit I'd play him and clarke to go up against warnock and "the cruiser".
who plays on the three indigenous boys is the great concern.
Outs : hinkley,McPhee,robbo.
Ins : mundy,sandi,Anthony
Midfiield matchups will be interesting.
Barlow v Judd
Mzungu v Murphy
Broughton v Gibbs
Mundy v Scotland
Lower v McLean
Sandi v worncock
Clarke v kruezer
On paper that doesn't look to scary IMO.

Mzungu on Murphy? Very bad given how influential Dal Santo was against us on Friday. Scotland plays off the HBF so I doubt Mundy would go head to head.
Ibbo --> Judd
Mzungu --> Murphy
Mayne --> Gibbs
Ballantyne --> Yarran (though Blues may try to free him up)
Suban --> Garlett
Grover --> Betts
McPharlin, Silvagni to play on whatever tall mugs they decide to move forward.
Pavlich to play closer to the goalline.
How is keeping Dal Santo to 25 important disposals and 2 goals good? They basically stood next to each other for each contest then ran different waysC'mon brades you have to give credit, where credit is due.Mzungu kept dal santo to 25 & 2 gls ,one of those in junk time. Mzungu 30 dis & 1 gl.
I just think Murphy plays more like dal santo.

The coaching staff clearly think he's best 18, so either they are wrong, or that is an indictment on the rest of the playing list.Pfft, over inflated average thanks to the Gold Coast game. It was a poor job at "tagging".
And I am right about Mzungu being a WAFL player at best. His decision making and kicking 90% of the time leave a lot to be desired.

Says you, who agreed with me.The coaching staff clearly think he's best 18, so either they are wrong, or that is an indictment on the rest of the playing list.
I do agree with you. I think it is an indictment on the rest of the playing list. You can't say these things without implication. Mzungu was near to Freo's best player on Friday night. What does that say about the rest of them?Says you, who agreed with me.

That's a very low benchmark, malpaso. I want our list to be the best, or at least on its way to being the best. Not just better than Freo of 2009.That they were shit on friday night. Especially Duffield and Broughton. Two players that we needed given our lack of gameday experience.
It's an indictment on the game on friday night, not our playing list which in the last 2-3 years has improved markedly. If you disagree with that, then really all your looking for is the entire football department's head.

He's a 25 year old mature recruit.. if he can't make good decisions now, he won't ever make good decisions. Handballing directly to St Kilda players doesn't win you games.So after a handful of AFL games you can make the call he won't make it?
Once mzungu gets the belief & confidence,he will be away.
One of us is gunna be right.
I can be wrong, but I wouldn't say often. I am definitely correct more often than not.Bradey: often wrong; never uncertain.
