He said he lives with josh tynan with a parent family which he found hard as they ask him a lot of questions but since josh moved in it has been easier for him and that at training they have a buddy system and his buddy is trengrove. He doesn't have a lot to do with neeld mainly the mid coach and his says his best aspect of his game is and always has been his kicking and that melbourne hope that he will like dustin martin. He spent his first 6 weeks when he first got injured watching videos of cotchin and martin.

And yes his still coaching St Pats.

Im just very suprised? he was recruited as a mature player and upgraded to the main list, yet still can crack a game? does anyone have any insight?

Do you think its because you have to many similar players in the starting 22? but then i cant see how that would be a problem because he can play half forward rotating in the middle, and you can never have to many contested ball winners. player who put there body in are worth their gold!

We may as well forfiet every game from now on in and save us the embarressment of another embarresing and pathetic performance and scoreline. I would say I know who we should drop and thats moloney,sylvia,morton,bennell,trengove,bate,bartram,davey and well bring in tynan if fit,petterd,fitzpatrick,tapscott,couch,taggert,nicholson and strauss if fit.

I agree with most of this (except the forfeiting), though Bate must be going real bad if he getting dropped following a game he didn't play in

actually this will work in our favor

Senior players who are dropped wont get to play a game anywhere, and thats all they deserve.

And on the flipside, the coaches wont want our young developing players going 3 weeks without a game.


Think we will see some debuts this week for sure. maybe Cook, Taggert and COuch.

Yeh I don't know why everyone goes straight for Mortons head after a bad game, everyone bar a couple were bad last night, I guess with the usual scapegoats already out, Joel Mac, Dunn, Bate and co, he is the only one left to blame?? I think he has been one of the few guys who has shown glimpses of improvement this year.

First player I'd be bringing back is Joel Mac because while his kicking is nightmarish at times at least he goes in hard and can win some one on ones, he isn't good enough not to try his guts out, that's better then being good but not giving a damn.

Randy, in reality, if it is any less than about 85%, we are in bigger strife than we realise.

I can't remember who told me that Morton had taken to the new coaching group, I certainly don't claim to have any more inside knowledge than anyone else here.

Just going by my own observations, it seems painfully obvious that Beamer and Sylvia are not on board. That kills me TBH, Sylvia was my favorite player a couple of years ago and I used to tell all my mates he was going to be a star for Melbourne; and we all know how passionate Beamer was about Melbourne.

Ok sorry about the bail thing,but I want you to seriously hear me out here ok. I not saying rivers is a bad player but it seems that every week we are getting scored heavily agaisnt and I think we need a change up and try something different. What I had in mind was to see how we would go with frawley,davis,mcdonald and sellar as the key backs. That means even dropping garland for a while but seriously dont you feel and others here that it would give us a new look and see how these two youngsters go anyway. Just a thought.
