I'm not having a go at you, but hasn't Tommy Mc beaten his opponents easily in the last several weeks? From memory, he's beaten Reid, Brown and Reiwoldt in recent weeks. He's learning his trade down back and doing a great stopping job considering how often the ball is coming into defence. He stays down back for mine. Needs to work on disposal, but no one is moving for our backmen for them to have an easy possession.

Like last week, I'll say it doesn't matter who we bring in or dump, it won't make a difference to the result. But it's time Neeld looks to the future. It's time Couch comes in. Same with Nicho. We need pace. Would like to see Tapscott come back in as well for an extended period. And if Martin is fit, bring him in.

Keep Morton and Bennell in the team as they are still young. Yes, they have been crap, but I'd rather see Neeld investing time in the younger crap players than the older crap players. Wouldn't be upset if all 3 of Davey, Sylvia and Moloney got dropped. Saturday night was unacceptable from all 3...

Saturday night was unacceptable from the whole squad.. bar 2 or 3.. honestly I'll be surprised if col is out this week to be honest.. is massively under done, think he's been a victim of being rushed back to quick nd honestly who would want to play in our forward line at the mom.. also for everyone smashing davey in regards to effort, I think the effort is there but he is simply no longer up to it, the game has gone past both he and green IMO..

I'm tired of excuses. If Col ain't fit, then drop him to Casey. If Davey ain't good enough, drop him to Casey. Sick of excuses. Make way for players who are fit, or who might potentially offer us something.

This. We've been hearing the same excuses for 4 years. Enough! We are going to lose anyway so play guys who are at least fit.

Out - Jurrah, Morton, Green (never ever again), Moloney, Sylvia, Davey
In - Whatever....although i would like to see Fitzpatrick ( at least he had a crack against Hawthorn ) and Nicholson (purely for some run) back in. The rest, meh, it will just be our typical 'AFL slops' such as Dunn, Petterd, MacDonald etc etc

I agree Sylvia is clearly still not fit and it's like playing a man down same with davey but I think his is more a confidence thing

Possibly, but you don't need confidence to perform the 1%ers. I think longer term decisions need to be made soon. I mean, we were probably never going to win any of the games in this tough run, but it's how we've lost.

I reckon it might be time to start making the tough calls and cutting players who Neeld doesn't think will be there next year. Maybe he is doing this already. I can't see how the weekly carousel of the same players is helping though.

Pick the closest side to what you think it will look like next year and give them 3 or 4 games. Make it public that it wont be changed barring injury as these are the 'probables' thus far. After that time period, adjust and repeat. You'll find out pretty soon who of the players dropped want their spot back and who are coasting.

I hope Lucas Cook gets a game this week. Watched the Casey v Box Hill game on iView the other day and liked what I saw. Tom Couch is surely also due. Drop the sooks and pick blokes that will have a crack.

Here's mine, not that it will make a difference to the result, just hopefully the presence.

Out:

Sylvia (Lack of pride and heart, done and dusted at the MFC - **** off brickhead)
Moloney (General soreness of feelings)
Jurrah (Ankle)

In:
Bail or Tappy
Couch
Martin

Out: Davey
Sylvia
Morton
Bennell
Green
&
Moloney

In: Whoever's turn it is to come in. I suppose....the usual guys...

Dunn
MacDonald
Martin
Petterd
Bail
Tapscott

remember...we got thrashed by 100.... So 6 changes ain't so bad.

Go Dees!

Now I've calmed down and the week has moved on I am really looking forward to how the players respond this week.

I have no idea who's gong out or who comes in but I am very interested in how the 22 named players respond Sunday after the intense media scrutitanty (apologies for poor spelling)

Bring on the Blues!!!

Am I nieve or can we not get any worse??

Can someone tell me how quick Couch is, I reckon he could come in and play down back on one of there small forwards
Not quick enough to do that.

Would love Neeld to make a big statement this week, drop a load of the senior players (Moloney, Sylvia, Davey, Green) and just play a young side that will have a real dip.

now that the emotion of the previous weekend has passed by I am really looking forward to seeing how these 2 proud clubs respond to the heat that is upon them. Regardless of the result i hope we have a great tussle that is full of skill and effort that shows the footy world the 2 groups of players and 2 clubs are proud and willing to put in the effort this and every week. the comments about both clubs on and off the field and even here on both bf boards have been unfair. I hope both sets of fans can build it up as a pivotal game for both teams. Lets see some effort. lets see some balls. Good luck to you guys.Hope we can respond to the challenge as your team does

We can only hope BG... :thumbsu:

It will be an interesting game to see which team can step up and respond the best after shocking performances by both teams on the weekend.

Without any bias - the Blues should be able to respond this week and win easily..... but I am hoping a bit of form and luck comes the Dees way this weekend :)

Mitch Clark to kick a bag - Trenners to hit some form in the middle and Howe to actually convert when he gets a kick in front of the big sticks... Blues by 10 goals :D:D

Respond? Our players wont respond,we have already had two 100 point plus thrashings in the first eight weeks of the season! How many of them do you need to realise that the workrate & effort being produced is not up to the acceptable levels required?
We may get an effort up until quarter time but after that?
My tip watch Kade Simpson just own a wing with no one even thinking of picking him up Judd to run amok Gibbs to be run back into form!
The weathers tipped to be ordinary this weekend so that may save us from a total flogging but if we get within 10 goals of good sides these days thats sort of a victory in a sense sad but true!:o

I gotta feeling Dees will really lift here, it happened to Port last week after all the criticism they copped and I think the Dees will respond in similar fashion. Not sure if you guys will win although I really hope you do but reckon there will be plenty of positives to come out!
BTW Couch has got to get a game! Ive watched this guy in the VFL this year and he isnt that quick but by god he has a crack!

Im gonna call something from left field - Kelvin Lawrence will be named in the team tonight.

WOW

We have a long list on inclusions this week with the return of J.MacDonald, Bail, Sellar, Dunn, Tapscott, Davis and Nicholson. Davey, Sylvia and Morton have been omitted and Jurrah’s out with injury.
