Big blow to them. Has improved this season.
Are they tanking already?
(joking, relax Carlton posters, just a bit of banter)
If Robinson, Waite, Kruezer and Lucas are up for "test" as reported by CFC and are included, then their will be 6 Carlton players missing from round 1, and we will be missing 5 from round one.The team that pantzed you in round 1 - isnt' playing - cant really understand the odds being put out there at the moment - Richmond should be very firm favourites.

No probs. Just wondering if a quick little bloke like Webberley might have been a better option late in the game than OHanlon who seems more a lead up forward flanker type.I agree with you Livonski what I was suggesting though was that he's not ready but we don't have any other options right now.
Precisely. It seems that when trading is discussed around here there has to be a win/loss for it to be a success. We've got a few Collins types, had no Grigg types...clearly.The whole Grigg-Collins debate has been misargued (if that is a word) by both clubs' supporters.
Trading is about like for like. You trade out a player for a similar player on a needs basis. Yes, Grigg was out of contract and could have walked, but Richmond wanted to do business the honourable way with both Grigg and Houli. Richmond offered pick 47 for Houli and Essendon said no due to them not wanting to use the pick (and then they went and used it anyway). Carlton came to the party and both clubs did business the right way.
Richmond needed an elite outside endurance runner. Grigg was identified. Collins is a brave, skilful warrior but isn't an elite endurance runner. We gave up something we valued for something we valued.

Is Curnow injured? If so and he is out that will be 7-5 not 6-5.
True, but i was just comparing round 1, and if we get King and Griff back the Tankers are still only a few players off the pace. And Touhy is nothing flash and equal in quality at this stage to Dea.Add to that Touhy and Warnock, Blues will actually look half decent if they can get them all - 6 very nice ins for them

Kingy, Batchelor and Griff could be a chance![]()
how long ago did arnot do his hammy?
Couldn't be more wrong, matey. MadTiger won't like this. Oh, he'll love the bit about his love child Post, but you have confessed to missing the game. Under no circumstances is missing a Tigers game acceptable to MadTiger. Attending the game comes before family and everything else!!
Sorry, I was wrong, 1 kick.
It's not about being fair, it's about the team and changes that may need to be made. Ohanlon might end up ok but not getting a sniff yesterday cost us dearly. Their sub was a match winner in comparison, don't care if he's played 1 game or 100.
Browne
You're right of course, it is our depth issue if ohanlon is the best option. I just thought a different type like webberley might give some run late.this is our depth issue. cambell comes on and contributes, ohanlon comes on and doesnt. not his fault just where we are.
LOL. Spud of biblical proportions.
yep i wasnt really comparing our players more us v them. You're right of course, it is our depth issue if ohanlon is the best option. I just thought a different type like webberley might give some run late.

Bar one cameo from Matty White, the sub has failed to make any real impact for us all year. Worrying!
