Ivan does look tired. Can't blame him.

Gus might be worth giving another go.

Still think either Post of Griffiths should be in the forward line. I think we can have Post/Griif, Riewoldt and McGuane in the same forward line without seeming too tall.

Coburg thread doesnt think so.
Browne & Derrikx for Ivan and O Hanlon (little Maric was pretty good in the 1st half) ?

Browne will work his arse off and then Big D will bring some mongrel

We should be putting I.Maric out to pasture for 2013. And try Browne dog. But try getting Ive to agree. He's probably got a contract sweetener for top 5 B&F, and he's also in the AA mix. I see Verrier was in the best again. Might be worth a late upgrade and play. But no changes otherwise. King came back too early last knee, add a week and stir. Griff too important, too injury prone.

Out McGuane
In Astbury

That would be my only change for next week.

B: Newman Rance Dea
HB: Houli Astbury Morris
C: Grigg Cotchin Deledio
HF: Martin Post Edwards
F: Nahas Riewoldt A.Maric
R: I.Maric Conca Tuck
INT: Moore Jackson Ellis O'Hanlon

O'Hanlon showed plenty, Ellis isn't displaying any signs of slowing down.

White in for A.Maric and give him the job on Yarran.

White has another week to go.

I say, OUT: I. Maric & IN: Verrier, Browne, Derickx, Astbury

B: Chris Newman, Alex Rance, Kelvin Moore
HB: Matt Dea, Jayden Post, Steven Morris
C: Shaun Grigg, Reece Conca, Brandon Ellis
HF: Robin Nahas, Brett Deledio, Daniel Jackson
F: Shane Edwards, Jack Riewoldt, Dustin Martin
Foll: Andrew Browne, Shane Tuck, Trent Cotchin
Int (from) Addam Maric, Luke McGuane, Steven Verrier, Tom Derickx, David Astbury, Bachar Houli, Brett O'Hanlon

LMAO.....if anyone saw the Coburg game yesterday, they would be praying like hell there are NO CHANGES next week. FFS, its completely ridiculous to suggest that anyone from that game will get promoted to an AFL game.

People being a bit harsh on A maric he did much better then nahas and shouldn't have been substituted. He also has improved his defensive acts.
He should have been substituted because his defensive efforts weren't acceptable and never will be at AFL . The fact you think his defensive efforts have improved solely points out how bad his defensive efforts use to be .

I didn't see Nahas do anything good defensively today either. I don't know how many tackles he laid but i no he should of had a free kick when tackled wright who just dropped it and the umpire called play on. He also set up 2 goals and was involved in a play a lot more then what he was in his first couple of games this year.

Out: Moore, A.Maric
In: Griffiths, Verrier (Rookie Promotion)

I know he has played NO footy but Helbig would be a great in as a sub for 30 minutes. But with no footy obviously wont happen - so i'd give Verrier a shot off the sub bench

B. Morris Rance Moore
HB. Houli Post Newman
C. Conca Deledio Grigg
HF. Martin Griffiths Edwards
F. Nahas Riewoldt McGuane
Foll. Maric Tuck Cotchin
Int. Dea Ellis Maric Jackson

Wanna see Jack get some support up forward. Time to see Griff at it. I don't really want McGuane in the side but his attack on the footy was nuts today. 6 tackles too.

....we can knock The Scumbaggers out of the race next week. :thumbsu:

Well, I'll still regard it as a good year, at least in the same way 1997 ended up being a good year.:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Yeah, but Dimma has his work cut out to get the boys up again for this one. Today had to be gut wrenching and will have ramifications in the minds of our youngsters. Its Dimma now that needs to step up and get the tigers up again. Its been a pretty dramatic 2 weeks and now they need to clock in again next week and produce. I am not confident, especially as we get to the time of the season where young teams start to hit the wall.

i'm pretty confident we can beat carlton, footscray and port adelaide.

not totally confident on games against essendon and brisbane.

if we finish above 12th, that's an improvement on the ladder to go with our improvement in on field performance so i'll be happy

would like to say the same but I am thinking that today's loss has deflated the tigers, so much so that they will lose the handle on the rest of the season. Of course extremely happy to be proven wrong but its a tough call now. Lets see if Dimma has the grunt to get them up again and again. It was easy this week, after the embarrasment last week, blind freddy could have got them up. Next week is another story, today broke their hearts..it was visible, they boys did not want to lose this one and put it all on the line.

Amazing what some supporters will settle for in the way of achievement.
