200 Oppo fans sounds about normal for games there. Im actually surprised that they're letting any into their insular little town and stadium.

Its also normal in the same way that gauging fans as a means of making up some of the gate taking shortfalls across the game has become in recent times.

And the hand wringers wonder why attendance were well down prior to the last lockdown.

So everyone is going to be jammed into one half of the ground. Hardly social distancing.. The dollar is mightier than public health.
I expect our 200 to start a huge half time fight with the 7000. That should even things up.

Does bevo still do mid-week pressers or nah?

You mean?:

By the way Scrag, I won't be able to make it to the secret clique meeting tonight. I am booked in to undertake a gender terminology program for atheist vegan socialists.

I just watched a preview of the game where yet another analyst has fallen for the lazy trope of us not being able to contain Geelongs 3HM.

If Im not mistaken the 3HM was how they described our forward line until English got injured by a flying Monster teammate.

Team with the 'Three Headed Monster' forward line that has kicked the most goals?
: Its the Dogs 75-72.Ours has played 1 extra game between them.

Team with the most point for?
: Its the Dogs

Team with the fewest points against?
: yep, its the Dogs again.

The media are nothing if not sheep.

Well...der!

Leigh Montagna is hit and miss but he can come up with some analysis that goes against the conventional wisdom

In his preview of Friday's match he noted that Geelong's kpds have been found wanting a lot more than ours this year

In recent weeks in losing teams, Charlie Dixon kicked 4.1 against Geelong, Ben King 3.2, Max King 1.5 and a heap of marks and even Sydney's Hayden MacLean kicked 4.

Montagna tipped Naughts to be a major factor.
