I disagree.

Firstly due to his good record - he won't be facing any additional time off.

Secondly - the difference in carry over points is largely meaningless. 26.5 or 68.8. These expire within a year anyway.

But lets assume another incident occurs. Then the additional carryover only has impact when the charge is either 80pts or 225pts. At 125 or 325 the outcome is the same.

For someone like lecras - he is rarely going to be suspended - I'd run the gauntlet and have the extra carryover for 12 months and have a crack at having him available for COllingwood.

While I agree with the sentiment, surely costs and the like have to come into it as well. Higher an SC, debate with the tribunal, mount a defence. Wouldn't get much change out of a couple grand and waisted man hours. Surely this sort of thing comes into it as well.

Not sure a club as resource rich as hours should be too worried about non-capped expenditure

Only last week it showed we receive $6m in membership revenue than the next team - put that towards a defence.

It isn't as though Adam Simpson or the other players are going to be distracted or have time wasted

so how the **** did roughhead get level 1 while lecras got level 2.

def think itll be challenged.

Because Roughead stayed low and wasn't late.

Lecca came slightly of the ground after the ball had left.

That's the difference between negligent and reckless and the different gradings.

Yeh its hard to argue with reckless low and high thats how i would have summed it up.
At least he wont break his arm against the pies

wat.

Ward had 29 touches yesterday. I haven't been impressed with Selwood's defensive game at all recently.
Only 8 kicks though. Maybe it was the beers, but I don't recall Ward's touches being that great.

Scooter had a good game on Fyfe last week after being moved to him from Q2 onwards.

I would have thought Josh Hill was Le Cras' ready made replacement. If Hill brings his 'A' game he can fill the gap - the question is, "Will he bring his A game?"

His "A game"? he doesn't have an A game.

I'd actually rather him than Hutch in the team but his WAFL form maybe wont put him into consideration. Would be a good experience for him if he had a full game against Collingwood though.
We have about 306 backmen we could bring in.
Maybe it's time we gave Bennell a run up forward.
He looked pretty classy in kicking that goal a couple of weeks ago.
We can easily cover him down back for one week.

We go for another midfielder and rotate different players forward

Collingwood midfield depth is pretty good, we will ned as much midfield depth as much as possible

I think pick our best midfielder from outside this current group

We need to win this game ...this is not a game we pick an untried kid or three or four game player

Bring Ellis into the 21 and maybe sheed as sub
