Just had a look at the Soligo tackle, he very well may get a week.

Both of Peatling's suspensions were graded, Careless, Medium impact and High.

Did Xerri's head hit the ground? It's not clear from the only angle I have seen, but looks like it may have.

Not sure how you can say it was high if he was never assessed during the game. We're told they take head knocks very seriously. They have the technology to watch instant replays and drag players off for assessment.

If Rachele is just running now, he's not playing a final in 12 days time. 20 days, yes potentially.

Max for Bond (unless Laird is out which is a strong chance), and Pedlar for Draper. Smith sub.

Dawson will get a fine. They set up behind the umpire and the ball went in the direction that prompted movement that took them closer to the umpire and well his opponent basically pushed him right in line of the umpire. The free was a big harsh.

At the MCG game J Daicos tore us apart on that day so I definitely think he’s in the mix no matter what people say. Drapers lack of numbers against north will also help his cause. We all hoped for a better game from him as we need his speed and agility away from contests would have been invaluable

I can tell you we are not in a high training phase. Boys have been having relatively light weeks because of travel and scheduling

Bondy has put himself under the pump with his first poor game after qr time in tri colours. Still like him in the side but he did struggle with Curtis marking power. He provides that defensive balance in our back 6 when firing but his down game means he is in the firing line to be replaced by Max

I don't think Bond was that bad. The first free against him and subsequent Curtis goal was a joke. I agree about the marking imbalance, but it seems to me to indicate more that he shouldn't be playing on Curtis types. Maybe he should be put on more conventional small forwards, rather than dropped.

If Hawks have a narrow win over Brisbane in a relatively high scoring game, they could still finish 4th as their % could drop enough to keep them behind Collingwood. Might impact selection, although you'd think minimal changes other than Max and maybe Pedlar in, Rash potentially as well, with Draper out, maybe Dowling and Bond out depending on how many come in.

Not overly surprising given we just beat this opposition and Jaicos having a quiet one was part of the story, but I thought with returning players it would be tough to find room for Murphy again. Wonder if Dowling might be a one off based on that if we play Collingwood again.

I'd be more keen keen to play Michalanney on J Daicos and keep Bond as the small defender. Max showed what he is capable of up forward and would be 100x better than Murphy.

I'm presuming neither are allowed to suit up for the SANFL team, so it comes with a slight risk IMO, as both have had a while away from footy.
