HEdwards is always one of the first to be dropped. He needs games pumped into him even if he doesn’t play to well like Emac early days.

Yeah I guess that makes sense. Felt very optimistic that releasing the tag was going to swing things in our favour at all.I think the problem was that by using Nelson on Brayshaw it essentially had us a mid down. Our mid quality was so low that we needed as many midfielders on deck. If we had 2 stars playing that would have been a different story.

I think they are the knowns. Fitness bad, can’t run out 4 quarters. Game plan unchanged. Death, taxes and kicking it long to the right after a behind. The unknowns are if we have a dip, and for how long.
Plenty of WAFL quality out there. Of real interest is Rotham out before Hough and Dixon over Williams. The MC is making statements.View attachment 1365711
Can we assume that Gaff has a foot stress injury and SPS has a broken leg?
Good. Hopefully Rotham and HEdwards continue to improve this year. Hough has definitely been impressive for a first year player.Plenty of WAFL quality out there. Of real interest is Rotham out before Hough and Dixon over Williams. The MC is making statements.
We might actually lay a tackleA midfield with no Shuey, Yeo, Gaff, Kelly and Sheed. God help us.
Pendlebury was touted as the next Ainsworth in his draft yearLangdon West and Naish are going to thrash those no names Sidebottom, Pendlebury and Hoskin-Eliot
Stop making excusesNo midfield, no excuses. Win or you’re hitchhiking home lads.
Why play him if theres no match up. Then complain we're too tall[emoji848]HEdwards is always one of the first to be dropped. He needs games pumped into him even if he doesn’t play to well like Emac early days.
I rate Luke Edwards. Unlucky to not get a rising star nom last year.I guess we really haven't drafted a midfielder of any note in forever.
Not out of necessity when Rotham is omitted. And it's the correct decision IMO. Going a bit early here but I'm calling Rotham a bust. Has talent but regularly shits the bed, drops uncontested marks and doesn't use any of his weapons. Feel he would be a better player in a different team but we may have ruined him and might not get another look at it with a different team.Really pleased to see Hough get another game, even if it's more out of necessity than anything else.
Big chance for XON this week. Needs to be given big minutes, and big chunks on ball. I like his centre clearance work at WAFL level, give him a shot.
Yep - I predicted that. What a stupid thing to do. If a player isn't that fit, keep them out until they are. All that happened is he played like shit and further injured himself. Maybe we should also accept that he should never play onball. He could still play for several years as a gun wing to help him keep his body intact.I would assume that Gaff played last week when he shouldn't have. He said himself he felt like he had to go when noone else was available, or words to that effect.
Ah, someone else after my own heart, a Donnybrook boy perchance?
