You clearly watched a different game.
More like, you did but that would not be the first time.

Agreed, Porps was great tonight....should have been the match winnerYou clearly watched a different game.
I can't remember the last time Collingwood thrashed us, even during our down years. I don't think we'll win, but it won't be a massive margin, we usually match up well against them. 3-5 goal loss I reckon.
Oh FFS - I imagine you would find a positive from getting dumped on your prom night by a sure thing.

If there's one thing I've learned from the Crows this year is it's to never be optimistic about the Crows.I'd love to be optimistic about the Pies game but I really can't see anything other than a 10-15 goal smashing next week at the MCG in front of their home crowd.
This year is at least the equal of 2011.
Can Hartigan play as a 3rd tall? If so, I'd rather us try Otten in the forward line again over Talia, just don't think we've got much to benefit by moving Talia out of the backline.Hartigan in, Talia thrown forward.
Grigg, Lyons in.
Riley looked a leg break not an ankle sprain, watching him come off ankle sprains they usually can at least put a little weight on it, he couldn't put any on it.
If we don't give Collingwood a decent match up in our forward line, Reid will play forward and stretch our defence. Can Hartigan play as a 3rd tall? If so, I'd rather us try Otten in the forward line again over Talia, just don't think we've got much to benefit by moving Talia out of the backline.
Good point about having only one tall although I think Talia might be a better match up for Cloke then Rutten just due to how much he runs but maybe someone like Otten could help when he goes outside of the f50 (which wouldn't phase us that much anyways). Witts will be the other they throw forward but he's nothing special. If we don't give Collingwood a decent match up in our forward line, Reid will play forward and stretch our defence.
Reid's gone forward with success. Carlisle's gone forward with success. Give Talia a go up forward. Besides Cloke they don't have another decent big forward unless we let Reid play there.
Two compulsory changes with Riley (inj) and McKernan (stupidity/suspended). Surely the Jaensch experiment must be brought to an end now? I couldn't understand why he was selected this week, selecting him next week is just pointless stupidity.
This could be the end of the road for Riley's career - and what a horrible way for it to (possibly) end. Unlike some gutless wonders on this board, I'm not going to gloat over his injury (as other's did with Reilly's injury). It's never good to see a player with a serious injury like this and there are no positives to be taken from it. I feel sorry for him and just hope that he is able to recover from what looked like a very nasty accident.
Surely it's time for Grigg to come into the side, having played many, many quality games for the Redlegs?
My guess/hopes:
OUT: Riley (inj), McKernan (stupid), Jaensch (omit)
IN: Grigg, Lyons, Petrenko
They are up against Ben Hudson who was excellent Friday night, what a pity we didn't think he had 3 more years in him 6 years ago
I seem to recall he walked out on us despite the offer, not because it fell short. He never got over being disciplined for the night out. It was Scott Welsh who left at the same time because we only offered him the one year.
Welsh wanted 2 years, Hudson 3 I thought and we weren't prepared to meet either demand.I seem to recall he walked out on us despite the offer, not because it fell short. And I imagine you would complain about a BJ because she didn't tickle your balls.
Porps was fine. There were better players, there were worse. If he hasn't been dropped by now, he won't be dropped after that game.
I can't remember the last time we beat Collingwood. (sans NAB)...and they all seem like thrashings to me. ...In particular I can remember being a long way up in the last quarter and watching collingwood kick...what was it...11 goals?.. in about 15 minutes. Expecting a very big bad loss.I can't remember the last time Collingwood thrashed us, even during our down years. I don't think we'll win, but it won't be a massive margin, we usually match up well against them. 3-5 goal loss I reckon.
In: Grigg, Lyons, Petrenko
Out: Riley (inj.), McKernan (susp.), Jaensch (general shitness)
But Jaensch will probably stay in Mackay will be in instead of Grigg or Lyons.
I wouldn't mind seeing Talia given a go up forward, he might actually present up there.
Getting a bit frustrated with JJ at the moment, offering very little
Does Talia go forward and we bring in Hartigan ?
