Enough is enough with Jaensch. He has to go. Grigg and Lyons must play and then one of Pets or Mackay to cover MJ which even most posters here could have done.

Tamblings had two good weeks in a row for Sturt, imagine if we picked him. The melt down would be enormous.

I'll vomit if Mackay and Petrenko come back in but Lyons and Grigg don't.

Let's not go with the tried and false.

Get ready to change a Chris Mew as that's the changes I'm expecting.

Grigg to come in for the tried and failed Jaensch but that's still not a monty to happen.

He ran into an open goal - right time, right place. No skill in that.

He fell out if the game for a very long period of time and did only maybe 3 or 4 things during the game that were good. The rest were below average or had no influence in the game.

You are looking to pump him up or are very easily pleased but he wasn't one of our bests tonight. Nit that we had many anyway.
I assume your definition of "fell out of the game" fails to take into account the hard work & disposals he earned in that time all over the ground and includes only the goals scored?

Porps' game last night was one of his better ones for the season - probably 2nd only to last week. It's good to see him finally coming back into form, rewarding Sando for the faith he showed by continuing to select him while he was badly out of form earlier in the year.

Good to see you change your standards when it comes to players. I doubt you would award the same privileges to some of your whipping boys if they only worked hard.

He has 15 touches with a disposal efficiency of 40%. Dead last for the Crows and his 2 goals were from 2 meters out. 1 was running into the open goal after a stuff up by thew WCE defender.

You can say what you like, he wasn't very good and he fell out of the game for a very long period of time.

And that says a lot about our season and where this team is positioned right at this moment.

Who the **** knows really. I know what I want, but really have no idea what Sando is thinking.

I absolutely hate the quote by Sando. "We will not change anything in how we will approach any game". How the hell can you say that when we're playing average to poor football and sitting possibly 3 games out of the 8.

Sando doing yet another Neil Craig impersonation.

You make it sound like pointless stupidity is beyond us. Can't wait for pets to come back in and large it up with a couple of tackles on the wing boundary.
Jaensch has been selected for the last 3 games. That's proof positive that our selectors are capable of pointless stupidity.

Time to start planning for next year, as suspected weeks ago, this season is a write-off. We have not beaten any team of note, so we have next to no chance of winning 6/8 against some of the better teams. Never know, may actually uncover some gems & find winning form by mixing it up.

Bring Hartigan in & try 1 of our defenders up forward - doesn't matter which one, as can rotate during game if not working out & sub-one if a complete failure. Would start with Otten over Talia & Rutten, but Rutten may be the go if Pies have a mobile forward line.

Thompson is injured - no point playing him til he is 100% as does little damage with his disposal. Crouch has showed in last 2 games he is a clearance king & bring in Lyons to pick up the slack from resting Thommo.

VB to run with Pendles, as back to his best as a run-with player. Swan gets the ball regardless.

Porps/Lynch to rotate deep, as both dangerous around goal. Good to see Porps back in form for 2 games in a row.

In: Hartigan, Lyons, Grigg, Mackay
Out: McKernan (susp), Thompson (inj), Riley (inj), Jaensch

Kerridge to come back in later after hitout with Sturt.

B: Hartigan, Rutten, Laird
HB: Grigg, Otten, Henderson
C: Sloane, Dangerfield, Smith
HF: Lynch, Talia, Douglas
F: Porplyzia, Jenkins, Wright
R: Jacobs, Crouch, van Berlo
I: Lyons, Brown, Vince, Mackay (sub)

Yes, I like these changes a lot.
I think it looks a better balanced team and giving those guys who have performed well all year in the sanfl a chance to show their wares.
We cant keep playing Thommo, he is just a liability at the moment and surely Lyons would offer plenty more.
The youngs will come in and offer some enthusiasm & might actually try and take the game on

Porps had the absolute most negative consequences on the game of any player, for some reason Adelaide kick it to him as if he was 6 foot 8 while Jenkins gets it at his knees or feet if they make it there.
His lateness to the contest sidelined his team mate putting Adelaide a man down.
Barely being noticed by opponents in his defensive work.
Trying and failing seems to get the likes of porps selection regardless.
You can keep defending him for effort but he runs like he's in quicksand in among a quite lacking for pace forward line.
For as many times as he does something useful he's almost twice as many times done something shocking.
The talking up he gets is ridiculous, hasn't played a decent full dangerous game since 2009.
We aren't going anywhere near finals, to pretend he has something to offer now is BS.

That said I'd prefer anyone having the ball in their hands then Thompson...
And would Lynch quit being so god damn cute with the football when he's 50 out. Kick a point ffs, anything is better then dishing off rebound 50s.

I was told last week by some people who should know that hes had the tap on the shoulder. I know I sound like Rucci here but im inclined to believe these people.

Maybe but I was just going by the fact that this year, the Crows selection policy has gone in a 180 degree direction away from any sort of common sense.

Therefore, he's certain to play.

Looks tired, and he should be given how long hes carried a huge workload. Probably has one year left but doesnt appear to have the forward nous to prolong his career further than that. Id almost rest him this week.

I reckon our team would play better if we didn't have Thommo, VB and Porps in it.
It is so disappointing our experienced leaders of the club are playing so poorly this year
That's big reason why we are, where we are at.
Time for a Blighty clean out. Unfortunately Sando's faith has been misplaced

Scott Thompson people? Thoughts?

Too much time focusing on his biceps, not enough time focusing on running and foot skills.

Also can we stop pretending he can go forward like Danger and actually make a difference? He's useless up there, drops marks he should take and his snaps on goal generally end up 30 rows back out on the full...
