Out: Wright, Pets, Lynch, Jeansch, Reilly, "the message"
In: Tex, Douglas,.......whoever puts hand up tomorrow, "new positive message"

I've heard 2 really annoying things said out Sando and Dangers mouths the last week or so.

Last week, Sando (paraphrased)..."we don't want to play attacking footy, that's not us. we want to play uglier than that"
Who the **** wants to go watch a team trying to play ugly?? what a stupid ******* thing to say. How about put on some damn entertainment if we're going to play as rubbish as we are. I accept some games are ugly. But you don't bloody go out there trying to make it ugly. FFS!!!

Today at half time, Danger (paraphrased)..."we need to fix our inside 50 entries to get them deeper...." What in the actual **** Danger??? we just bombed it on their ******* heads for a half, giving the footy straight back to the dees for an hour from kicking it to ******* no one inside 50. THen your solution is to just bomb it in??? How about you actually kick the ******* thing to advantage and hit up target.

end rant.
What target? Our forward structure/game plan/movement is LAUGHABLE! yes LAUGHABLE!

Reilly wasn't the problem today, despite the halfwits on this board thinking that "you suck Reilly" passes for analysis.

Shaw, Petrenko, Matt Wright and Hartigan all outs for Otten, Douglas, Rutten and Walker. Brown lucky to stay as he's been mediocre for a while.

Lynch and Jaensch both to be fine after the bye.

How long for a broken jaw? Probably more than two weeks. Jaensch looked saw further down than ribs. I'm thinking more like a kidney? Look at Phil Davis. Anyway, either way, probably more than two weeks. 4-6 for lynch. Good opportunities to make changes that really need to be made.

Betts......:p

you have a point. but the solution is to have someone provide a target, not to bomb it long to the opposition.

If Radar suits up again we are taking the piss. Get the feeling Sando had enough after his disgraceful first quarter when he banished him forward and hopefully we don't have to see him again.
Yep it looked a case of 'gtfo Radar youre lucky we cant sub you.

Who cares?

Changes need to be made, but it ain't players.

Nah it's the supporters. They should have face detection technology at the grounds and have it if you leave early it bans you from entering Adelaide Oval for the rest of the year. Also each week the first person the leave should be publicly executed at the start of the next game / fed to lions.

On a serious note:

Out: Lynch (broken jaw), Jaench(fractured ribs), Petrenko, Shaw
In: Tex, Douglas, Lyons, Otten/Truck.

This gives us a bit more midfield strength. Shaw simply not AFL level. Not delist level but more like "use as defense depth for now and hope he comes good eventually." Might be a good time to debut Cameron as well in place of Pets. I don't rate CEY at all.

Good luck for this week guys we have several selection headaches going into this match which I guess is a good thing.

Great to see Walker back if he does play, nothing better than seeing a big full forward in full flight

Tex-Lynch
Otten-Reilly
Douglas-Jaensch
Cameron-Petrenko
Lyons-Grigg

In: Tex, Truck, Dougie, Otto, Cameron.
Out Jeanch (inj) Lynch (inj) Reilly (crap) Shaw (crap) Pets (invisible).

Hartigan needs to stay to learn off the Truck.
Time to try the Betts / Cameron forward duo at the feet of Tex / JJ / Pods.

Cheers, likewise..
Go easy on us..

Walker will be my one delight in watching football for the rest of the year..

Don't mean to intrude but from an oppositions perspective I'd suggest

- Petrenko just doesn't get any ball or do anything with it. 0 marks as a forward isn't good enough, where's the work rate?
- Kyle Hartigan isn't Ben Rutten, not even close! And even Otten's negatives would be worth a shot if he's fit compared to Shaw I think, he doesn't rebound nearly enough for a third tall type
- I think you should play Smith and Mackay as dangerous fast players in the midfield more. Give them a chance. Same with Grigg. To accomplish this I'd free Kerridge up and play him forward as a known goal kicker. And Scotty Thompson as well. He's impact is faltering even if his will and reliability isn't and you need Dangerfield and Sloane around the ball. Further to that I'd play Eddie Betts all over the ground when he's not in form. Would love to see his creativity at half back.

You're a side with a small collection of super players (Sloane, Dangerfield, Talia, Tex) and a lot of players who on their day are good but on an off day can be very ordinary. Maybe move some positions and challenge them to be better than they are.
