Because absolutely and definnitively Rutten comes in pending the medical all clear from his SANFL hit out tomorrow, and either Hartigan or Shaw goes - and tonight Hartigan was dire.

Rutten was terrible at the start of this year. Who does he go to during this game? Talia takes Cloke. The only assignment for Rutten would be Witts when he rests forward - otherwise he will be severely outmatched for speed.

Would have though after your irrational, stupid thread about Sauce - that he would be an automatic out?
If we had another ruckman possibly. Nobody came close to being as pathetic as Reilly today however. Sando needs to rule a line through him for good.

Yes.

That statement was that we were gallant

I almost puked during that press conference. How was mentioning the fact we won the 2nd half by 25 pts and focusing on Melbourne's numbers behind the ball being the reason why we couldn't score. Nothing to do with the stoppage work or the pressure around the ball hey mate. Just wow Sando.

How about the fact you got arse r*ped in the box and half the side flat out dogged it? Didn't feel those facts were worth mentioning? Disgraceful.

Unchanged. I'm backing in the blokes who stitched the dogs to get the job done. Nothing wrong with a close loss to the mighty dees at home. Let's not forget that we kicked poorly, had injuries and it's really only our 3rd go at the ground. Pretty good result, all things considered. Yep, unchanged for mine.

I did puke when he said that we were gallant...... WTF

Reilly wasn't great. But based purely on output these players were worse today: Lynch (inj), Jaensch (inj), Hartigan, Brown, Grigg, Wright, Petrenko, Betts, Shaw, Jenkins.

Wrong, Rutten was not terrible at the start of the year, he was only ok but still better than Talia, Hartigan, Shaw and Brown across the same period.

Rutten comes in if declared fit after tomorrow, that's not even debatable.

"Output" doesn't give a true indicator of desire or effort. Reilly had none of either. Most of those blokes you've mentioned took the piss too mind you.

So wasn't he fit this week? Was listed as an emergency today and is likely to play tomorrow in the SANFL. Rutten had a very very poor start to 2014.

Point if difference though Radar is 30 and playing ordinary

Hartigan, Grigg, Brown, JJ, Shaw and Wright have all played less than 50 games and you expect some inconsistency

Reilly is contracted until the end of next year folks.

250 here we come!

He was pantsed a couple of times by kids today. There's nothing inherently wrong with being pantsed occasionally, except when Reilly plays on a kid, the kid always looks more experienced.

Lol what on stats? Game was over when Reilly coughed up 4 of the softest goals ever in the first quarter and a half. He set the tone for ineptness and some of our players followed.

It was good to see young guys like Laird, Smith and Danger drag us back into it but Brent is finished it doesn't really even need discussion does it.

What's worse is the message it gives to the players:

"You aren't good enough to play an attacking game"

and to top it all off....we're actually not good enough defensively to play a defensive game.

When we re-signed Reilly last year I sent fabulous Phil an email and expressed what a poor decision that was. Should I resend my email?

It doesn't matter. Crows will get flogged. Crows won't make meaningful changes while proven and confirmed liar and cheat S.Trigg still has a job

Let's hope we encourage him to look elsewhere

No, he wasn't fit - they're running him in the SANFL because they're not going to be sure he is fit until he's played out a game. He was listed as an emergency anyway because that's how much higher rated he is internally over anyone else for the position.

Talia had a poor start to 2014. Rutten didn't. Get over it.

Yup. Should definitely get over it. My bad. Rutten was awesome earlier this year.

So what you are saying is that he was fine and uninjured in the first 4 games of the season and our best defender. Then picked up an injury and has sat out the last two games to recover and is being run in the SANFL this week to make sure he is over his injury?
