The only reason the earlier suggestion in this thread to drop Zak is that it gives some bonehead in the commentary box the ability to say "I can't believe it's not Butters" when his replacement touches the ball. For some reason, they *still* wheel out the Houston line every time he does something noteworthy (which is, pleasingly, quite often of late).

I think it’d be fine, as Marshall can then play Robbie’s role up forward, and Drew can take more midfield minutes.

I think if Amon is up to form he would be an important addition in the absence of Robbie, as I don't think Robbie has been getting a lot of the ball, but neither has he shown a lot of aggression and pressure on the opposition, something I feel like we're gaining a reputation for. Trengrove could also work in the middle, with his high possession count in the SANFL, but keep in mind this is a senior Collingwood side with many strong bodied and experienced players, and the only way we can compete with them will be through matching their experienced list, a factor that will damage us in the absence of Robbie Gray. There is also the factor of Marshall and his contributions to the team, but I think this is the wrong game to be trying out younger players like Frampton and Trengrove, Amon is about the best we can do for now.

It's been great to see Drew have a crack at it - we've seen that he can perform at the top level, but at the moment I don't feel he's a necessary part of the best 22.

In that case, use the opportunity to bring someone like Garner in to give him exposure, or possibly even a straight swap with Atley to let him show his development.

Drew should maintain strong form in the SANFL and will be ready to hop back in to the seniors at first opportunity.

No Jonas for De Goey... Damn. if pies go quickly down the corridor like North did but with better precision this will get ugly. We can't allow teams to score multiple unanswered goals at beginning of games we have a habit of this against good sides. The 5 quick unanswered goals that north kicked against us last week was because they finally decided to play down the corridor and opened us up. Collingwood would of watched that closely. Without a general down back like Jonas this will be a mountain to climb.
