Out: Lycett, Ryder, Westhoff, Marshall, Howard...Ken on radio this morning said that no tall will be selected
He really heaped praise on Ladhams though. I reckon he will get a chance some time this year.Ken on radio this morning said that no tall will be selected

I would be resting Ryder against Gold Coast in round 9 and playing Ladhams. He really heaped praise on Ladhams though. I reckon he will get a chance some time this year.
I have read "Magpies forward ruled out" and thought it was Frampton!Cox out ([emoji6])

Somewhat lessens the blow of TJ being unavailable

Congratulations on your 6 goals Ben Reid.Cox out ([emoji6])

On Motlop - he is really the only like for like Robbie replacement who can play forward and mid.
- Amon coming in would likely push S Gray forward, with Amon onto the wing.
- Farrel coming in would likely push Butters/Rozee into 50/50 forward/mid role Robbie has so far this year.
- Frampton coming in would do the same, with Westhoff pushed almost permanently to the wing.
Great for their developmentSo who will Howard and Clurey go on? I'm assuming Lienert can be freed up as a flanker.
There's a difference between expecting better and accepting reality.I hope everyone that says that a 5 goal loss would be an acceptable result is willing to wave their right to melt at the end of the game.
Funny how we have people carrying on that we aren't Port Adelaide anymore, that we've diluted our mission statement and that Ken is a loser in his very being.
.......... I want us winning premierships, not just accepting being competitive and/or making finals.
I'm preparing for Reid to kick 5 and look like peak Carey on Friday night then go goalless for the remainder of the year.Prepare the Spuds who tear us apart thread.
Motlop should not even be considered. Missing for large periods of the game then bobbed up late when the game was over to pad his stats.Farrell was pretty poor last week, similar to Broady. His disposal which is usually his 1 wood was pretty off.
The players last week putting their hands up were Frampton, Trengove, Amon, Mayes, Atley, Ladhams, Garner and to a lesser extent Motlop.
I would be surprised if Farrell came in given he is behind a fair few, he needs to string together a few good games in a row first and he's only played 1 good game for the year. I'd be less surprised if Broady was picked just because he has experience, but I would hope we do not go that way as he really hasn't hit his straps yet.
If I was selecting for short term results, and to only win this week I'd pick
IN: Frampton, Amon, Trengove
OUT: Marshall, R Gray, Drew
If I was selecting with a longer term view
IN: Amon
OUT: R Gray
Mason cox being a confirmed out is massive.. evens it up a bit without Jonas.
Motlops upside is so much better than Amon. I'm confident he'll lift for a big game here in Melbourne. He'll definitely be in.Surely it's Amon.

That's the thing as much as he gives me the shits he's capable of coming in and playing a blinder.. he really has been bog average in the SANFL and doesn't deserve to be picked.Motlops upside is so much better than Amon.
